Located just 3 miles from the beach, this home is situated on Dirickson creek (what a view!). Enjoy waterfront crabbing at the pier with waterfront picnic areas & kayak launch, clubhouse, pool, tot lot, biking/jogging trails, and convenient shopping within walking distance! This is a quiet neighborhood but close enough to beach to bike! There are 3-4 bedrooms (den has twin w/trundle, & 1st floor master suite) 2.5 baths, screened porch and paved patio with great water views, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, 3 flat screen TVs and great room (surround sound), gourmet kitchen, and many other luxury features.
This is everyone's dream home! It is close enough to everything so you'll never get bored, but quiet enough so you can enjoy lazy days...Beautiful water views from every window in the home, and nature all around! This is truly a place where memories are made.

Like so many of you, I have vacationed in the Ocean City / Fenwick Island / Bethany Beach area all my life. I grew up in the Washington DC Metro area, and have always come to the beach to de-stress and I hope that you and your family will enjoy this beautiful home during your stay. Best of all, this home is convenient to everything with both grocery and drug stores within walking distance, and pool/clubhouse just 2 blocks away.
Enjoy watching nature on the water at dawn, refresh in the pool, bike to the beach and watch the sunset! This home has been set up for comfort and fun, yet styled very attractively. It is truly a cut above the average beach rental. Not only are the surroundings beautiful, but the neighbors are friendly and you will feel right at home during your stay.
We had a wonderful time and the house was picture perfect. The surrounding views were lovely and we especially liked the peace and quiet. There was so much to do and see as Ocean City was about 15 minutes away but the house seemed so far from the hustle and bustle of O.C. You get the best of both worlds! Also, many great places to eat or you could cook or grill at the house which we did. I recommend this place as it was one of our favorite rentals. The only negative was the amount of geese and goose droppings. It would be great if the community could come up with a solution for this. Do not, however, let that last remark stop you from renting this wonderful home! I would rent again in a heartbeat and do hope to get back there in the not too distant future.
This house is truly amazing! The pictures just don't do it justice. It is even more beautiful in person. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids,and our Labrador) had a terrific time enjoying the house. Our first day there, we just relaxed and took in the magnificent views.
The house is beautifully furnished with high end furniture and appliances and the kitchen is stocked with all you could think of for cooking. And what a great change, to have soft comfortable sheets and towels (as opposed to what you normally get when renting through an agency). And lots of towels and sheets as well!
So many touches make this house a home, and not feel like a rental, and each room even smells great!
The master bath has a Jacuzzi, although we didn't use it, and there is also a great shower there as well.
My kids loved that they each got their own room with very comfy beds and enjoyed being able to lay down at night in one of their rooms watching t.v. before bed.
The views of the creek are superb at every angle. One of our favorite things to do, was to sit on the comfortable swing out back and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the geese and sometime heron in the lake.
Unlike other rentals, even the patio furniture was comfortable and it was great eating dinner in the screened in porch one evening and seeing the lake.
There is a fabulous bakery right down the road on 54, called Bake My Day---the best chocolate croissants outside of Paris! Really good apple pie with crumb topping too, and they even make their own dog biscuits!
Another great find was Mia Fratello (also on 54 close to the house), which had the best Italian food we've had in quite some time. We liked it so much we went back more than once!
The house is only 3 miles from the beach and a short ride. If you turn left on Coastal Highway, from 54, the state beach on the right has an area that allows you to bring your dog! Very good showers there too, with warm water and a nice snack bar.
Also at the intersection of 54 and Coastal is Viking Golf, which we enjoyed with our kids. The course is not hard for the younger ones, the way that some of the putt-putt places can be. They also have a small go-kart race track there and a small water park.
Overall, fantastic house, in a really good location. Probably the best in Fenwick.
My husband, mother, 2springer spaniels and I just returned home from this glorious vacation. The pictures of this home do not do it justice and the owner of the home is simply fabulous. The water veiws are captivating. The owner was 100% available and helpful throughout our entire stay and even let us extend our vacation a day because we were having such a wonderful and relaxing time. My dogs (and me) loved the screened in porch where we ate almost every meal and I sat out there one whole day and read a book. Blue Hearings greeted us at the waters edge almost every morning. The home is perfectly appointed with anything you end including high end furniture and fixtures. It is also extremely quiet and peaceful. Away from the hussell and bussel but provides a quick 5min car ride into Fenwick and OCMD. On the way to the island(s) you will find several great eateries (there is a bakery- "Bake My Day" that has the most divine donuts and eclairs- they also have home dog biscuits). We have rented many, many places over the years, through VRBO and this home/owner combination is the number 1 rental. We are already planning a trip back this fall (provided we don't buy in the area!). Thank you Lale for sharing you home with us.
House was great. It was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The community pool was also convenient. The water views are spectacular. The owner was very helpful and accommodating.
Having owned and vacationed in the lower De area for the past 20 years, this vaca home is one of the best we have ever stayed at. Well appointed with all your needs included. The house is well located to access both OC and Fenwick areas and is QUIET. Will definitely revisit in future..
Extremly comfortable and clean home. So much is included in this house including and awesome gourmet kitchen! Location is only 3 miles to the beach and the local restaurants were excellant. Water views can be seen from the majority of the windows and the views of the sunsets are fabulous. The entire first floor is tile which made it each to sweep up after our dogs, who by the way LOVED to jump into the water to take a swim. The area was perfect for us, close to attractions, shopping and restaurants. The owners were easy to deal with and very accommodating. If we find ourselves vacationing in DE next year, we definitely will be going back to this lovely home.
Enjoy the sweet smell of salt water just beyond your doorstep at dawn, stroll the neighborhood boardwalk, enjoy the pleasures of the beach - from the shore to the charming shops, there is no better place to vacation than Swann Cove.
