3124 is one of the best locations in the entire resort. Gulf front, two stories, with two huge balconies. Enormous doors and windows open to one of the best views on all of 30-A. Close to the largest of three pools and all the amenities of the club house.
Sanctuary By the Sea is a rare condo development on Florida’s Emerald Coast that respects the natural beauty and open spaces of the area. Set on 23 acres of mostly undisturbed dunes and native flora, with over 650 feet of pristine private beach, this truly is a “sanctuary” from the over populated, overbuilt complexes most visitors are familiar with.
Plenty of room. Over 3,100 square feet of living space plus over 1,000 square feet of balconies. Each of the four bedrooms has its own private bath. Two Master baths have Whirlpool Tubs and large walk-in showers.
The Living Room and Master bedrooms have wide screen HD televisions. Flat-screen TVs in all bedrooms and 3 DVD players.

Don't confuse us with Sanctuary at Redfish -- a nice resort nearby but it is not on the Gulf. You can walk directly to the beach from our condo with very few stairs. (Our elevators make it extra convenient).
This is our fourth year at Sanctuary, and first time staying in 3124, and it is stunning! We enjoyed our stay very much and were quite lucky with the weather. The close proximity to the beach was great. We especially appreciate the interior design - Architectural Digest worthy! It was great - we hope to come again.
We've stayed at Sanctuary a dozen times over the last 5 or 6 years, so this review is not about how perfect SbytheSea is--there's no place like it, and we sure hope it remains a Sanctuary (ie: no screaming children, no loud music, huge private stretch of private beach, and plenty of lovely respectful people in the most beautiful setting). This review is for this unit--the owners have perfected excellence in condo ownership. This is the best unit we've stayed in (I hesitate to even put that out there (: as availability is hard to come by now. It's already booked for our spring break!) Being in this particular unit felt like we were in our best friend's house; therefore, it makes you want to treat it as such with great care! The decor and cleanliness were top-notch, and the furniture (inside & balconies) is comfortable & nicely arranged. Beyond that, these owners have left no detail uncared for! In our home, we have our "Sanctuary Box", where we keep supplies we bring with us the couple of times a year we go stay--filled with all those extras you often forget about, don't want to have to run out to Publix for, and most unit owners don't supply. We did not have to dip into our box--they literally have thoughtfully provided EVERYthing to make your stay simple & stress free! We truly felt like we were at our home away from home.
These things may not seem like a big deal, but to we that are "veteran" renters at SbyS, this is what puts this unit at the top of the list!
The only suggestion I would make is to put a facial mirror, or hang a mirror over the desk in the upstairs Master; this would make for a perfect Vanity since there's not a lot of counter space.

Our experience at Sanctuary-by-the-Sea was incredible! Where to begin? The condo is beautifully furnished, yet inviting and comfortable. We loved the colors and ocean theme that seemed to be just an extension of the view out each of the windows and doors. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds luxurious. Preparing meals in this kitchen was a delight for our entire family. It was as if we were staying in the home of a good friend, one with very good taste!
The location of this unit is convenient to the pool, ocean, and Red Fish Lake. Our chairs and umbrellas were out each morning by the time we got to the beach (some days that was pretty early). The private beach was pristine and peaceful. While my daughter was thrilled to sit on the beach with her book, my son was busy trying to capture some of the wildlife in the 30A dune lakes right beside her. We even happened upon one of the famous "outfalls" while on a walk along the beach!
Even though we could have stayed on the property for the entire week and been happy, there was the lure of so many things to do that were only a few minutes away. We shopped at San Destin, hiked at state parks, toured Seaside, saw a movie at Grand Boulevard, played at the Baytowne Wharf, and ate at the Red Bar. We regretted not having our bikes along, but somehow didn't get around to renting them.
This property is all this listing shows and more. The entire complex was clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. It is such a nice combination of a peaceful sanctuary so close to a wide range of activities for all ages.
This was my first visit to Sanctuary by the Sea and I have to say it really was everything I was hoping for. I love 30-A so the location of this luxury condo was perfect. I could stay and enjoy the two pools and the private beach or bike to Sea Side. You could vacation here and almost never have to get into your car! I loved that! This luxury condo made me feel right at home. The decorating and furnishings are centered around comfort which I loved. Every room has everything you need and you can tell a lot of thought and care went into the process. It's really, really clean and the beds are so comfortable. Every bedroom with it's own bathroom was great. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal it's big and roomy with state of the art Viking applicances. The view from the two balcony's are breath taking. Every night at sunset we were taking pictures overlooking the lake and the ocean and of course the gulf's white sand is like no other. We had a great time and I hightly recommend this condo. The owners were wonderful.
