As we are 30 minutes from Hilo - you're never far from anything.
Located in a secluded neighborhood in the Puna rain forest - this is the place to enjoy the best of Hawai`i for a family friendly price! With our 200 sq ft covered lanai - you'll be able to enjoy your meals or an afternoon hiamoe iki (nap) in the comfort of the relaxing tropical breezes.
As our house is brand new - we've decorated it tastefully and tried to bring the feel of the tropics inside! We've also added custom artworks and photos from family and local artists.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, and ensuite bathroom. You'll also find a small sitting area to read or just relax and put your feet up. This room is large enough that you can also use the air-bed for extra sleeping. With access to the lanai - the master suite can be your personal retreat! On the other side of the house you'll find the other two bedrooms, and full bathroom.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home. All your cooking needs, plates, silverware, blender, microwave, toaster, rice steamer, coffee maker and more. About Cindy Young
We first came to the islands in 2000, on an anniversary trip - and couldn't stay away! We fell in love with the big island of Hawai`i in 2005 and found we keep coming back!
Cindy Young purchased this house in 2012
Why Cindy Young chose Pahoa
We chose this area because it's close to all we love about this Island! The sound of the rain at night is soothing. The smells of the jungle around us and the quiet days are fabulous! We even love the sounds of the Coqui frogs at night! Our NaloNalo Kauhale will be the home we retire to in a few years.
