This 4500 sq. Ft. Home is nestled atop Bretz mountain in shaver lake located approximately one hour from Yosemite Fresno international airport.
Head to china peak ski resort just 20 minutes away for some skiing in the winter months. China peak ski resort provides a wonderful snow skiing experience with seven chair lifts taking skiers to the top of the mountain giving the skier a beautiful view of Huntington lake far below.

Shaver Lake Castle sits on top of Bretz Mountain in a upscale neighborhood with amazing views.
Shaver Lake is located along Highway 168 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, approximately an hours drive from Fresno. The small community of Shaver Lake is named for the lake that lies at the 5,500-foot level inside the Sierra National Forest. This pristine mountain lake offers wonderful fishing and boating opportunities; water skiing and lots of other water related activities. There is also camping, hiking, mountain biking and back packing and horse pack trips available in the Shaver Lake area. Summer is the busiest time for Shaver Lake, and winter offers a more quiet time as skiers pass through the town on their way to the China Peak Ski Resort. There are SnoPlay areas around Shaver Lake that are open in winter and the town is magical when it’s lit up for the holidays! For a special Springtime treat, take Toll house Road off Highway 168 near Shaver Lake to view the wildflowers that are in bloom, small waterfalls and rolling hills covered with oak trees. Shaver Lake is a well-kept secret in central California that offers lots of outdoors recreation opportunities as well as a peaceful place to get away from it all.
