Re-designed, fabulous townhouse in Camden! This originally was an old photo-library, which has been beautifully transformed into a one bedroom townhouse without losing any of it's former quirky originality!
Happily situated on a quiet residential street, you have beautiful Primrose Hill, Regents Park and Camden Town very close by.
On ground level, the entrance takes you into the dining hall with its black stone floor, dining table and chairs for six and good storage space.
The living area is roomy and light with a calm air, overlooking the street. Three steps up will find a full-sized double platform bed that can be used comfortably by two adults or grown children. One of the sofas in the living area can also be converted to a bed if required. Cable TV.
Still on the ground level you will find the wet-room with power shower, basin and WC. There is also a utility area offering space to store luggage and here you will find the washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
On the mezzanine level is the fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, electric 2 plate hob, full-sized oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and utensils. Compact, but with good storage space.
Up a small flight of stairs and you will find the study area with desk and chaise-longue with lovely sky-lights…perfect for dreaming and contemplating!
Further along the passage-way is the delightful bedroom with a double bed, good storage, TV, more skylights…and black-out blinds. A magical little place to close yourself in and listen to the rain on the skylight.
En-suite bathroom with wc, a small bath and shower overhead.
Wi-fi, linen and towels.
Mornington Crescent underground station on the Northern line in zone 2 is a short walk away.
Euston Station offering National Rail, Northern Line, Victoria Line.
Kings Cross St. Pancras station offering EuroStar, National Rail, Northern Line, Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Circle Line, Metropolitan Line.
Great value for money in a fun and quirly way! Ideal, central location…take advantage of this flats original charm and comfort.

Fun place to stay. Don't be fooled by the one bedroom part, there were 5 of us and we were really comfortable. Close to the high street and market with shops and restaurants, you have everything you need not far away from you. Great to be able to walk home after a late night out.
The location of the flat is perfect, walking distance from the tube and Camden centre. All you need is close by (food shops, banks, bars, restaurants, etc).
You can also walk into London centre if you enjoy walking.
We rented the flat with friends to spend New Year in London it was amazing.
The beds are very confortable. The heating is good. The street is quiet.
On the other hand we were very disapointed with the condition of the flat, the photos must have been taken a long time ago and everything is very worn (floors, paintwork, etc.) and some of the furniture is not the same as in the pictures.
Also had a problem with dirty sheets when we arrived as the cleaner was on holiday nut the owners sorted everything out very quickly despite having called them very late at night when we noticed.
We rented the house so my family could all be in London to celebrate. It was perfect - large enough for myself, siblings and parents to stay and for us to entertain members of our London based family as well. Definitely a week to remember! Our hosts helped with extra bedding, advice on deals for the various attractions and printing out the tickets! We will definitely book again in 2017 when the next reunion is planned.
Had a wonderful Christmas break - the property's location is perfect. Its in a quiet residential street but within two blocks are all the shops you can imagine, including banks, postoffice, numerous restaurants and bars. There are transport links to just about all parts of London and we were able to walk into the West End and come back safely after the theatre.
My girlfriend, her friend and me liked the apartment. It was one of the most interesting places I have rented and we love this part of London. I recommend Camden if you like the markets and some pretty crazy small shops, also the bars and music places. We didn't have a plan for what we wanted to see and do, we just took off from the flat every morning…which was so great! Thanks
Me and my friends had a great stay in the Photo Library. It was an unusual kind of apartment with lots of charm, which we really liked. Camden is such an awesome London area, we didn't manage to see and do everything we wanted, there was so much. Thanks for the tip about Primrose Hill being worth walk to. It was. Thanks, guys
Cool Camden. Home to everything that is alternate and happening. Noisy, grungy and always interesting, you could never be bored or un-enthused in Camden Town!
Home to the world famous Market with it’s vintage clothing, crafts and original little shops selling almost everything, it would seem, but many leaning towards clothing and music in one way or the other. Here you will find a live music scene that is envied by all, plus enough bars, clubs, music-venues, funky eateries and street food to keep even the most picky tourist fascinated and intrigued for the entire length of their stay!
The canals add a little bit of calm and serenity in an otherwise bustling and busy market atmosphere. They are very pleasant to sit beside with a drink in the summer, to walk by, or just to watch people cycling and walking their dogs. There is always a great duality here with young people hanging out and strumming a guitar with not a care in the world, and those milling around the markets, eager to find that one original gift for someone back home. You’re spoiled for choice for the weird, the unusual and the never-seen-before, as far as goods for sale go. The markets themselves are actually divided up into about six areas, each specialising in one thing or another. One sells only Goth style clothing, for example.
Keep walking further along from here and you will find Regent’s Park, home to the London Zoo, open-air events and boating, amongst others. Check out the Park’s and the Zoo’s wonderful website to see all the attractions that they offer and for news of new and upcoming exhibits. There truly is so much to see and do here besides visiting the Reptile House or just lazing on a grassy bank. The London Zoo is a world-class one that inspires and impresses.
If you’re still strolling, or bus-hopping (which is always fun) you should have reached Oxford or Regent Street by now. So close to Camden, and so easy to get to from there. What a great and fascinating central London area.
