About Rusty Johnson
Rusty Johnson has been building custom home for over 30 years and has acquired a reputation for unique carpentry and architecture. This cabin was built as Rusty’s signature home, incorporating many of the custom techniques created and perfected over his career. For example, after finding a 100+ year old heart pine log in the Satilla River, he used the giant tree to build the spiral staircase inside. The Swamp was built as a getaway home for the Johnson family and has been greatly loved and cared for over the years. With the Johnson family now older, Rusty is presenting the property to the public to enjoy the same type of treasurable family moments.
Why Rusty Johnson chose Brunswick
