The front porch faces 5thstreet, and every evening a 20 minute walk takes you to the end of the Grand Haven pier to watch the sunset; your own 'Key West' experience in Michigan. Our home is located in a quaint neighborhood and is just minutes from Lake Michigan beaches, downtown shopping, restaurants and fun! A 10 minute walk takes you to the local YMCA and the area's Imagination Station, tennis & pickleball courts and skate park. The house is perfect for week long vacations, weekend getaways and as a cozy fall or winter retreat. The main floor has an open kitchen to dining room area (13x17) with a separate 13 x 21 living room. Games, beach toys and a table for puzzles is also provided. A half bath is off of the kitchen. Laundry facilities are located in the basement. The house has hardwood floors throughout and 9 foot ceilings. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with 2 twin beds, and a small back bedroom with another queen bed and a full bath with jacuzzi tub. The living room on the main floor has a sofa bed with a half bath next to the kitchen. There is off street parking for 2 cars; an outdoor gas grill and a front porch ready for you to watch the world (or the Coast Guard Festival Parade) go by. Did we mention this charming place is on the Coast Guard parade route? We supply linens and towels, full equipped kitchen, gas grill, flat screen TV, wifi and cable.
There are nine restaurants, two coffee shops and a bakery within 10 blocks featuring everything from pizza to sushi to seafood to Italian to steaks. Fast food includes gyros, Italian beef , hot dogs, fried chicken and burgers. Something to please everyone.

We love Grand Haven and are involved with the GH Coast Guard Festival, so we love to entertain and have families have a wonderful time. We lived on one side of this duplex and are now renting out both sides weekly instead of yearly.
