From the first contact with our host Gwen everything developed fine. On the day of our arrival Orchard Cottage was to find easily. We were warmly welcomed.
The house had more space than we expected. All rooms were clean and well equipped. There were TV's in the livingroom and in the kitchen. We also could use wifi/internet. The kitchen had everything we needed. Gwen was very helpful, we didn't miss anything.
The location of Orchard Cottage is excellent. From there most of the interesting places in Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow. the Highlands or St Andrews) can be reached easily. For golfers the region is a paradise.
A huge supermarket and a fillingstation nearby. But what we liked best was a restaurant with pub only 7 minutes footwalk from Orchard Cottage. We went there nearly every evening.
We (two couples aged about sixty) can recommend Orchard Cottage to everybody who wants to stay in a comfortable property with a beautiful surrounding. We felt at home and had a wonderful time at Orchard Cottage.
Myself and my husband (Gwen & Alistair) were both born and brought up around Inverness in the Highlands, we moved to Perth in 1980, when we started up an Electrcal and Security Business, which we sold many years later. We have 2 daughters Eva and Lisa, both now married and living elsewhere in Scotland.
We moved to Huntingtower it'self in 1994 and decided to make this lovely area our home. We started running Stable Cottage originally for Holiday lets as it came with our house, this proved to be so busy and quiet sucessful so eventually we purpose built Orchard Cottage in 2002 and ran the 2 cottages from then.
