GREAT PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE UP

  • 5 of 5
Great place for my family of 5 (3kids). Had everything we needed. Instructions for everything was very well organized and simplified. Cabin is in great shape and well kept. Sandy Beach on lakefront. We drove to most of the main tourist spots from here. When we were back at the cabin was very quiet and relaxing. Not much luck with fishing, although later discovered in the Cabin Instructions a 3 page fishing guide on Trout Lake specifically. Ken and his wife was very easy to work with. Thank You Ken and Patt as we are hoping to return again.

PERFECT GETAWAY

  • 5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had everything a family would need and more! The inside of the cabin was very nice. The beds were comfortable, with lots of pillows and linens. The kitchen well stocked with paper supplies, cookware, dishes, spices..everything you could want or need. The bathroom had bathroom items in case you forgot something. The washer and dryer came in very handy too. The windows in the living room provided beautiful scenery of the lake. We especially enjoyed the mornings sipping coffee and looking at the wildlife on the lake. The lake provided hours of enjoyment for all of us too. I recommend this cabin to everyone. It is perfect for young children through retired folks. Ken and Pat are friendly and helpful too. The cabin is in a central location for area tourism. Only a half an hour from the bridge. We are planning on going back as soon as we can. Thank you Ken and Pat! Sincerely, Jennifer

FOUR YEARS AND COUNTING

  • 5 of 5
Have stayed at the log home located on Trout Lake for four straight years. The place is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Upon arrival the housekeeping is immaculant. We choose to stay in the fall and the leaves are beautiful. If you gaze upon the lake the nearby hillside's reflection can be seen. Go out at night and the stars will take your breath away. Enjoy the solitude of this treasure in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.

AWESOME CABIN IN THE WOODS

  • 4 of 5
We got off to a rocky start when we had a miss communication for the entry instructions, the owner was very kind and offered us an extra night at no charge, we did not take advantage of it because we were on a tight schedule. The cabin was beautiful and everything was clean and organized, the lake was very nice and clean as well. The electric went out one windy day and was off until 1:00 in the morning, a little inconveinient but we are used to that because we live in the woods, we enjoyed the evening anyway. The cabin is conveniently located close to the middle of the U/P making it an easy drive in any direction to visit the many wonderful sights. We would highly reccomend this cabin to anyone and we do plan to go there again.

TROUT LAKE CABIN

  • 5 of 5
The Trout Lake Cabin is absolutely wonderful: clean, well-stocked with paper supplies, linens, etc.; lots of room for a large group; very nice accommodations! It was great to have Dish Network and a washer and dryer available, too. We caught pike and perch in the lake and enjoyed the peaceful front yard and beauty of the surroundings, Day trips were made to Sault Ste. Marie and another to Munising (Pictured Rocks) and Tahqamenon Falls. The owners are super nice, too! We give our highest recommendation to anyone looking for a vacation rental in Michigan's upper penninsula!
