A Beach Oasis an hour from Seattle

My husband and I brought our two kids over for a short stay-cation. We've never really explored Whidbey so we thought we'd rent a place on the water, not too far from the ferry. After contacting several owners, we settled on this place on Useless Bay, next to the park. About 10 minutes from the ferry dock.
We were really happy with our choice. The coolest thing about this place, besides the unbelievable view, is that you feel like you are in the wilderness. You don't see any neighbors houses, because the property is apparently several acres. We've stayed at other vacation homes in the area where you could practically touch your neighbors wall. This place feels remote. We needed a place that was pet-friendly, which thankfully this place is. There's an off-leash dog area along the beach, which wonderful to use. The interior was beautiful and as advertised in the pictures. Super comfortable, nice beds, well stocked kitchen (did I mention the amazing view from every room??). One suggestion: add a fireplace!! That would make it perfect.
The kids had a great time building forts with the driftwood along the beach, skim boarding, and flying kites. The outdoor shower was a great touch and frequently used to wash off the sand.
We've stayed at a lot of vacation homes around Puget Sound and this is definitely are new favorite. Such a beautiful cabin on a beautiful beach. Thanks!!!

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying at DBBC and we appreciate the great review. This will hopefully help future guests understand the uniqueness of DBBC. We are planning on getting a fireplace by the fall so you can look forward to that next time you stay at DBBC! Thank you again.
