COLORFUL, UNIQUE, PET FRIENDLY BED & BREAKFAST IN NAVASOTA

My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway and heard about this place from friends. We were able to easily book our reservation and off we were. Pulling up to the Red Velvet Inn was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely breathtaking - inside and out! The lawn was perfectly manicured, the landscaping was lush and beautiful and the décor is a perfect blend of modern and Victorian. Denise, the owner, was there to greet us as we walked in and we could instantly feel her passion for the home. She gave us a great history lesson on the house and the city of Navasota and recommended some fun excursions for us to do while there. She is extremely personable and easy to talk to and is one of the best cooks ever. She had the most delicious cupcakes for us later in the evening. SOOOOOO light, fluffly and tasty, we had to eat two!!!! They should be outlawed, they were so good. And her breakfast was fabulous - waffles with caramelized bananas! I wanted to steal the bowl and bring it home with me. Delish!! The rooms were so comfy. We stayed in Willie's room and the bed was spectacular. We sank into the mattress. I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. And I highly recommend taking a bath. The towels that she has are the softest towels I've ever used. Since it is pet-friendly, we brought our two dogs. The backyard is like a mini dog park. It's very spacious and our dogs loved running around out there. And Denise is a big dog lover, so she made it very easy to have the dogs around the house.

My entire experience at the Red Velvet Inn was amazing. I've never gone somewhere and felt so at home and welcomed. Denise has done a remarkable job at making her guests feel very comfortable, special and taken care of. I HIGHLY recommend the Red Velvet Inn to any and all!!!
