We had a 3 generation family Xmas over the weekend. Your home provided the perfect setting- very spacious, comfortable, and exquisite decorating. My 3 sons came up from Denver and we enjoyed quality family time. We will look forward to coming back!
Seven high school friends planned a Colorado trip to celebrate their 50th birthdays. A few of us had not seen each other in 32 years. What a fabulous time we had in this beautiful mountain home. We enjoyed sitting around the fireplace(s) in the evenings and talking about old times and catching up on current times and laughing all the while. We took several walks around the lake in the mornings and saw many many Elk as they were in the area during their bugling mating season. Yes, the bull elk do charge and if you have never heard the sound of the bugle it is something like you could never imagine. The house itself was very accommodating and there was nothing that was missing. The view from the living room was gorgeous! A welcome basket on the counter made for a very special touch. I would not hesitate to recommend this vacation home to my family or friends and I would stay here again. Estes Park is a beautiful place and the tour to the top of the mountain was incredible with views and various stages of vegetation as we went to higher altitudes. There are plenty little shops in town and several restaurants although much of town closed early (between 7-8 pm). Smokin Dave's BBQ was awesome! This was a great vacation for everyone and can't thank the owners enough for sharing this beautiful home with us.
I rented this home for a week long work retreat for a team of 6 women.
The home was comfortably furnished and we felt instantly at home. We arrived to see the aspen groves changing colors. The mountains breathtaking. The house was perfectly situated--close enough to the town of Estes Park yet far enough away to feel like we'd gotten away from it all. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit from a gang of elk and making fireside smores!
I wish I could give this home an excellent rating but the internet was frustratingly slow (not hi-speed) and not very conducive for our business needs.
If you are into music make sure you bring your own docking station as this home has an older stereo system, but the sound system worked great.
This home easily accommodated 4 couples. The house is immaculately kept, and we were greeted with a gift basket. Checkin was very easy, just a phone call to the owner. The view of mountains and the lake is outstanding, and we saw elk in the back yard. Outdoor amenities include several dining tables, and an outdoor firepit.
We were able to walk to dinner one evening at Grumpy Gringo which had very good Mexican food.
This house would be great for a family to share as there are 2 twin beds in the downstairs area. There are 4 separate bedrooms, however, 2 of them share a bath.
Very nice owner who we met. We really enjoyed our stay.
Conveniently located to the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mtn National Park.
By far the best vacation we have ever been on. The house is breathtaking. The pictures don't do it justice. We really enjoyed all of the outside seating. The view if the lake and mountains was stunning. We grilled out every night and utilized the spacious kitchen. My wife really enjoyed the steam shower in the master bedroom bathroom. We can't wait to go back. Thanks Eunice for everything !!! You have a wonderful rental house that is second to none. We enjoyed hiking ,horseback riding, atvs, and white water rafting.
My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful inside and out. We had small children with us so we made most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. There was even a high chair for my one year old grandson. We also spent quite a bit of time out on the patio looking at the the lake. The owners were very nice and left us a great welcome food basket. The location was perfect for heading in to town and it was only a short drive to Ricky Mountain National Park.
This vacation home was everything we hoped for and much, much more! A perfect fit for our 2 families of 8 with parents and young adults. Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable beds, spectacular views inside and out. So many wonderful places to sit together or steal away in a quiet place to read or relax and enjoy the views. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and dining together. Close to everything!...church, shopping, Estes Lake marina, horseback riding, RMNP, ATVing, Stanley Hotel, a beautiful drive to Ft Collins. We had a couple of questions the first day and the owners were extremely helpful and responsive. We saw a fox, mule deer, and elk on property. Awesome! Thank you Eunice for sharing your home and kind welcoming. Our family has new happy memories to enjoy!
