Posted price is for one of our deluxe one bedroom units. We also have studio units and another deluxe one bedroom with a private outdoor space. Please inquire for pricing of other units. All prices are plus cleaning fee and 11.5% city tax unless staying 28 days or more, then no tax added.

Our goal at that Cottonwood is to create a relaxed, comfortable, unhurried atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy the sun, and peaceful beauty of Palm Springs and the desert. We found a small, overlooked mid century apartment building and transformed it into a private, peaceful, stylish vacation rental property.
We are located at the north end of the El Mirador neighborhood in central Palm Springs, just a short walk or bike ride to the famed Movie Colony and Old Las Palmas neighborhoods; home to the Hollywood stars of yesteryear and today. Downtown is approximately 1.5 miles or a 15-minute walk.
We have 4 units total: 2 one bedrooms with 700 square feet, living room, dining room, bedroom with king bed, full bath and full kitchen; 2 studios with 300 square feet, bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with shower stall and full kitchen (no living room or seating area in studio other than the kitchen dinette).
We pride ourselves on having a clean, modern, well thought out property. We have attempted to include amenities you might find at other more expensive locations, like free bikes for guest use, a heated pool, wi-fi throughout, wired Internet in all units and 42” flat screen smart televisions with satellite and Netflix in our larger units; 32” in the studios and in the bedrooms of the larger units. You’ll even find real artwork on the walls! All at an affordable price.
We have Culligan filtered water throughout at the tap. There are 2 free parking spaces for each unit, 8 total. Soaps, paper products and fully stocked kitchens with coffee makers, teakettles, microwave ovens, dishes and cookware as well as full size appliances are provided.
We include a “starter” coffee and tea kit as well as a bottle of wine to welcome you so you can just relax for a while when you first arrive. The air conditioning/heat and pool heater are turned on before you arrive so you can start the relation the moment you walk through the gate.
Additional kitchen items, like a blender and bean grinder, etc. are available for shared use in the storage shed. You’ll also find irons and ironing boards there.
All rooms open to the beautiful, heated kidney shaped swimming pool with spectacular mountain views. The large lot is desert landscaped and well lit at night. The entire property is privacy fenced with a locked gate in the front, creating a completely private oasis of Zen.
You won’t find a front desk at the Cottonwood. We are small, hands off sort of vacation experience. Management is close by and will quickly respond to any issue, we are just a text or a phone call away. We believe that you come to Palm Springs to relax, not be watched over by staff. We do visit almost daily to spruce up the pool and the exterior and to make sure that everything is great for your stay.
At this time the Cottonwood is an adult only, non-smoking, no pets allowed facility. Laundry facilities are available for all that stay longer than 4 days. When renting the entire complex, children are allowed by exception.

The deluxe units are perfect for those in need of some space to spread out, especially for long stays. These units fit 2 people very comfortably and can accommodate 4 with the included inflatable mattresses.
The studio units are perfect for single travelers, couples that are comfortable in smaller spaces, and active travelers that don't intend to spend too much time inside the unit.
What makes this apartment unique
Walk from you unit and take 10 steps and enjoy a nice clean, heated pool and sculpture garden. Fully enclosed, private property. Beautiful mountain views from the pool. Fully remodeled. Gas grill for outdoor cooking, and 4 bikes (cruisers) are provided for our guests enjoyment.
