We moved to Ashton in 1994 to escape into the forest and to live in the beauty of the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone National Park and near great fishing, hunting, hiking and snowmobiling all right in our back yard.

Tracy Carter purchased this cabin in 1994

Sleep in the shadow of the Grand Tetons, near Yellowstone and within an 'stones throw' of some of the greatest fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling in the world. This is great quiet location, perfect to escape from it all. We are near some of the greatest fishing in the world; Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Warm River, and Fall River.

Spring and Summer you have the greatest place to hike - the back end of Yellowstone National park that provides multiple hiking trails. You can hike from the southwest end of the park, which is only 14 miles from the cabin, into Yellowstone's Old Faithful. Plus World renown flying fishing only minutes away. Winter, some of the greatest snowmobiling and X-country skiing in the world.

THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE

  • 5 of 5
The cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. Absolutely charming location and quite comfortable throughout. We appreciated being able to easily access Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The kitchen was very well equipped and the sleeping quarters were very comfortable. We recommend this property without reservation.

A CABIN YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH!

  • 5 of 5
I would like to thank Walt and Tracy for the wonderful cabin that they renovated using mostly their own two hands. It reflects their care. It is truly a lovely cabin. It has a fully stocked kitchen (you bring your own food, but the rest is there). It is comforting and inviting. It exudes peace and beauty. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of towels, and little things you might need. A large TV to play videos on, with Dish. This is a small cabin to sleep 6, but they have another cabin which sleeps 10. The cabin was very clean, no smoking, windows to allow the evening breezes, and such quiet and peace! It is surrounded by trees and tall grasses, flowers, and birds. Immediately surrounding the cabin is a finely cut lawn, with a park across the roadway in which you can play badminton, or have a firepit - all in the shade of very tall trees. The owner is nearby, and is very helpful and friendly. We absolutely loved this cabin, and plan to visit again if at all possible. We can't thank them enough for the rest and relaxation this little paradise gave to us. We recommend this for anyone. The pictures are accurate, but do not do the cabin justice! It is all they said it would be, and more. There are lots of things to do in the nearby areas, West Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Targhee National Forest, fishing, hiking, we loved it!
It is hard to believe there are no other reviews, the guest book was full of reviews from the other people who have stayed in the cabin, and they were all positive. This was a find in a million!!
