Spacious Lakeview Suite That Can Sleep 2 To 4 Guests

This well appointed suite includes two bedrooms, one with twin beds or one King bed, and one with a pillow top Queen bed. 4G internet from your hosts hot spot, and satelite TV along with a selection of dvd's, or 150 vhs tapes for the serious movie buff, can provide intertainment when indoors. The gallery hall and coffee corner features a nice selection of art for your enjoyment as you wake up with your morning brew. The bathroom has a shower, vanity, a highboy toilet, and is very clean. The recently added suite kitchen provides a bar sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee brewer. Over 1000 square feet of decks tops off your visit, featuring a spa that seats 6 on the lower deck, and a seating area overlooking Beaver Lake from the upper deck. This suite is nestled in the woods with an exceptional view. When the sun goes down, the sky comes alive with stars, and the absence of traffic noise is deafening. This is the only suite on the property, so you will have total privacy. Directions and suggestions for dining, entertainment, fishing, camping, hiking, and water sport of all kinds are at your beckon call.

About Jack Cross

I stumbled onto Eureka Springs in 1971, and just as you probably will, I fell in Love. My former wife and I started out with a juice bar, then a restaurant, then a shop. I currently sell real estate, design and build custom homes, have a custom deck company, and market a couple of self invented products. But all that is just a sideline. Eureka Springs is not about money, it's about lifestyle. What I really do, is enjoy life. My social life and businesses, my church, these magical Ozark hills, hiking and exploring, boating, fishing, and swimming off my dock. I love meeting people, and look forward to meeting you. However I will not intrude upon your privacy, you can have my company at your will.

I live in paradise. I lived in town for 14 years and enjoyed it, but living on the lake is unbeatable. Fortunately it's only a few minutes from town and all on paved roads. There is something about living with the woods all around you and a huge body of water in site. The quiet, the peacefulness, and the feeling of being in control of your life is exemplary. You are invited to see what I mean.

What makes this house unique

I chose my house because it is on the end of a ridge road with a great view of the lake. I spend a great deal of time on the decks I added, and even grow vegetables on them in the summer. My nearest neighbors homes are both vacation homes, so I rarely see them. But when I do, they are always so happy to be back to paradise.

Eureka Springs is a magical hidden jewel located in the Ozark mountains, the oldest mountain range in America. It is not unusual to see a bald eagle, or a wild turkey, a red fox, or deer prancing around everywhere. Your host (Jack) can direct you to some great hiking.

Our latest Eureka Springs feature is the new 'zip line' just opened March first. Turpentine Creek Animal Park features lions, tigers, and bears.....'Oh My!' There is Pivot Rock, Lake Lucerne (where Al Capone had a hideout), the steam engine train with dinner car, the Great Passion Play, Lake Leatherwood, and countless others. The only thing we don't have right now, is you. But you can change that. Your host, Jack Cross, has been in the area for more than 40 years, and is a wealth of helpful information. His guest suite is just around the corner from Starkey Marina where you can rent boats, buy pizza and beer, or BBQ at the free pavilion. Jack knows where to fish for bass, catfish, crappie, or trout, all right around the corner. If you desire a personal tour of the area and Eureka Springs, with historical information from a great story teller, at a nominal charge, just ask Jack.

Dining area rents for $25 per meal, and includes china, flatware, glasses, etc. Chef Sigrid will quote prices depending on the contents of the meal you require. Choices include but are not limited to Steaks, Chops, Pasta, and Seafood. A four course meal with cheese and fruit, salad, vegetable, main course, desert, including wine, start at $60.00 per person.

Second to none!

Our group of 2 couples were looking for a place to stay that was affordable for Memorial weekend. We didn't intend on being there very often, as our sole purpose really was to get away on our motorcycles and do some riding in the mountains. JACK'S PLACE MORE THAN FIT THE BILL!! It's just the perfect distance to Eureka Springs and of course the ride to and from was awesome! Then after the days of riding, we came back to sit on the deck and enjoy watching and hearing the wildlife; and sitting in the hot tub and watching the stars and boats run across the water. We will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away in that area and we hope to come back ourselves very soon!! Thanks for everything Jack!!

Great Get-away!

My husband and I wanted a quiet, scenic weekend get-away and we certainly got what we wanted. Jack's place is spotless and well appointed and has a view to die for. The deck and spa overlook a beautiful deciduous woods and shimmering Beaver Lake. Eagles and buzzards fly overhead while down below cardinals, wrens and other small birds sing and chirp and flit from branch to branch. Watching daybreak and sunset while lying in bed or while loafing on the deck or relaxing in the spa helped make our stay totally relaxing. For more worldly pleasures, there is Eureka Springs, but we preferred our time at Jack's to time in town.
Jack is a most amiable host and quick to respond to inquiries and requests. We highly recommend this place if you really want to get away from it all. We hope to return.

My Hubby and I wanted a quiet affordable get-a-way and we found it! We were married in Eureka Springs and wanted to come back to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. What a wonderful time. The accomodations are clean, clean, clean and have everything you need. Beaver Lake was the best surprise of all.......simply breath-taking. Comperable to the views I found while touring through Switzerland!! Even though we had snow in May it was simply wonderful. Thank you Jack!

Great weekend and place!

We had a wonderful time and Jack made sure our entire family (2 adults and 2 boys, ages 11 and 16) was comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was extremely cozy and comfortable and clean and we enjoyed having our room and the boys having their space. We felt so welcomed, like visiting family! Jack set up the spa for the boys and everyone sat around the beautiful deck talking and cooking out. The property has a great view and so much exploring to do right out the door and just a short scenic drive to downtown Eureka Springs. We are already looking at coming back! You won't find a better person to help you with what you need or a more beautiful location and a wonderful place to stay at!
