Alternate Latitude is an award-winning 44 foot Voyage Catamaran and Captain Steve has been sailing for over 20 years. He has carefully outfitted Alternate Latitude with a fresh & comfortable exterior & interior, with all new navigational equipment & other electronics, cushions & linens, stereo (MP3’s – yes!) and electric heads (toilets) in all bathrooms. You will experience the security of a qualified Captain, local knowledge and flair on a comfortable & recently updated beautiful sailing vessel.
Alternate Latitude offers 3 queen staterooms, each with own bathroom. The boat comes outfitted with toys aplenty, with 2 stand-up paddle boards, snorkel equipment for the whole gang, floaties & even a tube to pull behind the 5-passenger, 40 horse-power Zodiac dingy. Travel to multiple Caribbean islands via your own personal charter & visit coves & islands that you couldn’t easily get to if you stayed in a hotel without paying for all the extra travel costs (ferries, taxis, etc.).
Wake up to a breakfast of fresh local fruit & home-made treats from Chef Deb, then either jump in the sea for a refreshing swim/snorkel or take a hike on the trails that lead you to historical spots complete with amazing views. A light & healthy lunch will await you back on the boat – after that is a perfect time for an afternoon nap in the shade or chasing turtles on one of the stand-up paddle boards. Wind up the day with a little happy hour before a sumptuous dinner under the stars or opt for the delicious local West Indian fare at places such as Foxy’s or The Bitter End.

For the Captain only option, Steve & Deb will take care of sailing the boat and will arrange an itinerary with you that meet your requirements taking into account weather, feasibility etc. You will be responsible for provisioning, cooking and cleaning. It’s a way to save money on your charter and experience a relaxed, casual sailing vacation. All toys and amenities included, so you enjoy the comfort and amenities of a crewed yacht without the expense of gourmet cuisine or the limitation of dining on board. Extra costs on Captain only charters are provisions (food and drinks) for your group and the captain, fuel, ice, local permits, customs & immigration, mooring balls, fuel, water – basically anything but the boat & captain/crew.
Captain Only Rates, per week: 2-4 pax = $5,500, 5-6 pax = $6,000
The half-board option includes 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners - Beer & wine are included. Chef Deb will work with you to create a menu that fits your preferred pallets & diets.
Half-board: 2-4 pax = $9,000, 5-6 pax = $10,000
The all-inclusive option is just that - all meals & a full bar. Don’t worry about a thing.
All-inclusive: 2-4 pax = $10,500, 5-6 pax = $11,950

Charters are typically for 7 nights and can start and end on any day convenient to you and the yacht’s availability.
We can pick up and drop off in the US or BVI so when looking for flights check them both.
Xmas & New Years add 10% - 7 day minimum.
