Many ways lead to Fischen. If you go by car it is simple to take the motorway A7 til the junction named Allgäu. Turn right and take the way A980 in direction to Lindau. Approximate 3 miles afterwards leave the 'Autobahn' and follow the country road B19 to Oberstdorf.
You will pass Sonthofen, the main town of our district Oberallgäu and cross Fischen, where two traffic lights take care. About 50 meters behind the second trafic light you turn right and drive a small road up to a little but steep hill. If you pass the Hotel Tanneck you are already in the village Maderhalm where our guest house is the fourth on the right hand side.
Certainly, they are best connections by train, from large or important towns in Germany, as well. Threetimes an hour, the train stops at the station in Fischen, right in the centre.
