We are located just off of Caledonia Street, away from the hustle of the crowded tourist section of Bridgeway Street. We think our location is ideal, as it is still very close to downtown (5 min walk) and 1 block from the water. Caledonia Street has some great local restaurants, a corner store, a bar, and a movie theatre- all enough to keep you entertained without even getting in your car!
Charming and cute, the condo is roughly 1,200 sq. feet. It is technically a 2BR but we have the ground floor Master BR/BA suite set up as our den. Downstairs den has an exercise cycle, a comfy couch and TV with a sliding door which opens to a private patio, garden & BBQ area.
Main floor consists of a kitchen, dining area and living area which opens up to a small deck with a bistro table & chairs set up for enjoying your coffee in the morning sunshine.
Our bedroom, dressing area and primary bathroom are all on the top floor. You can see the sailboat masts a few blocks away, but this is not a 'view' unit. It's sunny and light with plenty of outside space, but just no water views.
Sausalito Summer Events:

*As an extra BONUS!* anyone renting our place for a month or longer can use our 3BR/3BA house in Truckee (Lake Tahoe) for three nights for free during their stay. Tahoe is only a 3-3.5 hour drive and our place is part of an HOA with a private beach on Donner Lake, Tennis Courts, Equestrian Center, Golf Course and a Fitness Center. Its' free to use for a long weekend or mid-week getaway during your stay in Sausalito.
I'm a small business owner and my wife is a veterinarian. We both commute to SF for work and absolutely adore living in Sausalito. We lived in San Francisco for many years but wish we had moved here sooner. The weather is much warmer and sunnier that San Francisco. We've got two cats and one adorable dog and split our time between Sausalito and Lake Tahoe.
Great location- close to San Francisco but far enough to feel like you are on vacation everyday! Amazing hiking and biking trails close by.
There isn't a better location in Sausalito (with the one exception of not having a view of the water). You can walk to everything in minutes, two blocks from the water and a half dozen restaurants right around the corner.
