My brother, Nephew, & I wanted a place to stay with the following characteristics: Close to Pagosa Springs but as close to Wolf Creek Ski area as we could get, rustic charm but with all of the modern day amenities & comforts, big enough to house and sleep three grown men comfortably (each in his own bed), and easy on the budget. We found all of these and more in this newly renovated property. The owners did an outstanding job in their renovations by staying true to the history of the property while integrating all of the modern amenities we've all grown accustomed to and expect when traveling.
This is a wonderful property for anyone wanting to ski in the winter (very close to the slopes), wanting to hike and fish in the summer, or anyone that just wants to get out of town and get away from the hustle and bustle of it all. The property is managed and owned by a super couple (we showed up early and had the pleasure of meeting them as they were putting the final touches on their renovation of the cabin) who will make sure that your stay is comfortable. We started talking about returning to it again before we even left. We will rent this property again and cannot wait to return.
