Hi,

My name is Limor and I grew up in Israel and mostly on the East Coast. I fell in love with the beauty of Northern California and its diverse population, cuisine, architecture and terrain. I have lived in the Bay Area for 18 years and have been blessed with a delightful partner, two fabulous teenage boys, 2 cats and a great community. We love to travel often and to host people from all over the world. We enjoy celebrations, gardens, books and volunteering. I am a photojournalist, writer and sassy Zumba dancer. We also love to share local tidbits and secrets about the Bay area.

Limor Inbar purchased this studio in 2003

This property is just the right size, in the right location, is very versatile and encourages human and other living being to thrive. It's comfortable and adorable.

People love to visit this property. They say it feels like a home in which they can relax. It is colorful, vibrant, quiet, close to culture and entertainment, SF, the redwoods, Napa Wineries, the bay, uncrowded hiking trails and many cuisines within walking distance. We hope you enjoy our hot tub, veggies and flowers from our garden, relaxing in the hammock while you listen to the birds, hopping on the trampoline and grilling on the BBQ.

Home Away From Home- our Relaxing Getaway!

Limor, thank you for your AMAZING hospitality & kindness. My husband & I could not stop talking about our 5 amazing days there. Our stay was so relaxing, thanks to YOU. We are already talking about our next visit from PA to CA to see our granddaughters & are looking forward to making arrangements with you again.

To anyone looking for that perfect place to stay, whether it be a vac, a romantic getaway, attending a wedding or visiting family or grandchildren, look no further.
What a GEM of a find!
The property & amenities were more than we imagined. It truly was a home away from home. Our hosts had thought of EVERY detail. It was as though we were at home. The kitchen was complete with a 4 burner gas stove, very spacious refrigerator/freezer, & was well stocked with all cooking, eating, drinking, and storage items, as well as sugar, spices, & teas. This allowed us to shop locally & cook our meals at home. This was a huge savings from eating out & a much healthier alternative than fast food. Our bathroom was complete with towels, shampoos & goodies. The bed was made with clean, soft linens. And there was plenty of storage/closet space for our clothes.
The welcome package included chocolates on our dinner plates, mints on our rolled wash clothes, a wonderful pumpkin loaf in the kitchen, half & half for morning coffee & orange juice, in the refrigerator. It was these "extra touches" that made us feel so at home. Our hosts even left a helpful "user's manual" explaining the secure WiFi, laundry facilities, BBQ, trash recycling/disposal and cable TV.
The layout is very spacious, yet very cozy. Easy on/off the freeway so there was no trouble at all finding the place. It is tucked away in a clean, quiet neighborhood, near BART, shopping, restaurants & attractions. We were minutes from Berkeley, SF, & Oakland. And could still be in the Bay Area in just over 30 minutes. There is a BBQ, hot tub, & washer/dryer. There is a spacious back yard with cushioned chairs where one could sit & enjoy the out doors. And if you return after dark, as we often did, there is a motion sensor light above the door which is helpful getting your keys in the door at night.
And the icing on the cake was that Limor was kind enough to be easily available to answer all of our questions about the area & offered us some great ideas. You couldn't ask for a nicer person to help you. She was WONDERFUL!! Definitely better than a 4 star hotel, and her kindness and hospitality was AAA++.

Our week in California

My husband and I spent a week here in October 2013. The apartment was wonderful. Located conveniently to Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco and Marin. It was attractively furnished and very comfortable. It was quiet and in a safe location. The owner was very friendly and even invited us to accompany her to an exercise class. We would happily stay here again.

Visit with Kids and New Grand daughter

What A Great place to stay. It was close to everything we wanted to see, visit with the kids, see our "New" Granddaughter. The host was great, but we didn't get enough time to really visit with her. NOTE: Must do that next time. And there will be a next time as soon as we can do it. This place was Excellent, we felt like we were almost home. Everything was "as stated", in the write-up. And better. I would recommend this as a home away for anyone.
There is more than enough for anyone to see around El Cerrito, or hop the BART for San Fran. The possiblities there are limitless.
Limor, you have a nice clean place to come too, we'll see you soon. Take Care, Bob

Limor - I just wanted to write you and tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your apartment. I'm sorry that we didn't get much time to sit and talk with you. Since this rental was close to my new Grand daughter, we were trying to bond with her as much as possible, and of course visit with her parents. Rest assured we will be staying there again. My wife and I want to wish you and yours a great Holiday season, and for a prosperous new year..Always...Bob and Cathy

Cozy Comforts

Welcomed with chocolates and a delicious pumpkin loaf! Hostess checks that all is well and offers any needed advice regarding neighbourhood amenities. This little apartment has all the basics, but if you enjoy cooking the old gas range is a bit of a challenge, as is the undersized fridge. However, there are several restaurants within walking distance, and two grocery stores near by. Lovely neighbourhood for strolls, with comfortable backyard to enjoy the sun and flowers.

Owner's Response: Dear Shirley and Wayne,
We are sorry you did not have a five star stay with us. We always strive to give our guests a wholly satisfying experience and wish we could have better met your needs. To our future guests, it is true that the antique, Wedgewood stove has a quirk that can make the pilot light go out when the windows are open, if the wind blows on it, but people have enjoyed making feasts with it nonetheless. Of course, we would be happy to loan you any specialty tools that are not found in the fully equipped kitchen. We wish there was more room to have a standard fridge, but this one, which is bigger than a dorm fridge is what seems to fit best. Thanks for your feedback ans staying with us.
