It sleeps 9 comfortably, and at 1,600 sq ft, there is plenty of room for you and your guests to relax and recall the day’s fun. A $250 security deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Fifty percent of the balance is due within 60 days of arrival. The remaining fifty percent of the balance is due fourteen days prior to arrival. Personal Check, Cashiers Check, Credit Card and PayPal are accepted.
Fees And Taxes Additional fees to include a $50 fee for pets (If Applicable), 6% Michigan Use Tax, and a $70 cleaning fee.
All rates are subject to change based on availability. Holiday rates also apply. Please inquire for reservations that occur over federally recognized holidays.

Mushroom season

This was our first time at The Little Bear Lake House. Our stay was great. The house had all the luxuries of home: Stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer. There were many activities such as boating, fishing, hiking and golfing in the area. Steve, the owner, was very helpful when we called about any problems. Everyone that stayed in our house thought that it was the best place they stayed in 20 years. The house was very clean and well kept. We can't wait to come back next year!

This is our 3rd stay at Little Bear Lake House.....so it's obvious that we love staying here. It's in a great location & you can drive an hour or so in several directions if you want to go to other nice cities. We loved being able to take a "virtual tour" of the house....inside & out. And the pictures are up-to-date!!! The inside of the house is immaculate. We have a non-shedding dog and appreciate the fact there are few dog hairs found when you arrive....from other tenants. Appliances work well, and even though we don't do much cooking there, you definitely have everything needed from utensils, pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker, etc. The owner is so personable & great with any questions or concerns you may have. If you need to get in touch with him, you get a returned call quickly. We would recommend Little Bear Lake House to any one we know. Thanks for a great week....and we'll be back !

Snowmobiling Weekend

My husband and I and another married couple stayed in the cabin on Little Bear Lake the weekend of the January 4-6 2013. We were looking for a snowmobiling get-away and this was a great location! The cabin is very close to the trails. We opted to head away from Gaylord, to escape the snowmobile traffic and head east and it was perfect, non congested riding!

The cabin itself is kept very clean, it is updated, and is well stocked for all your cooking/eating needs. The owner, Steven, was very generous and answered many of my questions through phone, email, and texts. We would love to come back and see what it is like there in the summer...

Thank you for a great Thanksgiving! The cabin was wonderful in fact we are coming back to celebrate Christmas there! Everything was perfect and we didn't need anything, it was all there!
Actually we don't want anyone to know about this cabin so that we can keep coming back when we want, but you won't be able to keep it a secret because it so so perfect!

Wonderful!! beautiful cottage..clean, fresh, like new! So many little extras too. Nice dishes, pans, silverware, towels..even nice wine glasses :) Little things like tinfoil, extra soap, hot cocoa, spices etc...so many. It felt so comfortable. SO CLEAN!!! Lake was so lovely. Grill fire pit Really just a wonderful place to stay. Owner sent a nice print out of area restaurants, groceries etc. Very helpful.
