I have lived in Columbus for 20 years, and love the vibrant Short North neighborhood. My daughter has opened several restaurants, and my business partner at both Mary Catherine's Antiques and the Italian Village Guest House has owned the antique shop for 34 years. We are fully vested in the community,

Whatever brings you to Columbus, this is a premiere location for you visit. Rates are based on your length of stay.
The Short North has been lauded as one of the most individual and desirable urban destinations in the U.S.
The house is private, well appointed, and very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very easy to work with. The home is in a great location. Close to all of the great restaurants and shopping. The home has everything you need to keep you comfortable. The home was clean and well-maintained. We loved our stay here.
We had a great week visiting Columbus where my daughter goes to school. We went to the OSU/Michigan football game. The location in Short North is great with nearby restaurants. Cozy house with parking spot in the back. Highly recommend. I hope to get back another day.
We lived in the Italian Village Guest House for one month with our 20-month-old son, and it was a wonderful place to stay in Columbus. Fantastic location - one block away from High St with a lot of shops and restaurants. I was able to take the free bus downtown and back for work. But the house comes with a private parking area accessible by the alley, so parking was never an issue in this busy, popular neighborhood. The house overlooks a darling, one-block park with an open grassy area and little playground. All of the amenities were in perfect working order: heat, laundry, dish washer, good water pressure in the shower, cable TV, wi-fi, etc. The house is spacious, the furniture is very nice with good quality linens. The house was very clean when we moved in. Lots of space in the kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Very comfortable couch in the living room. The only issue we found, which was circumvented by creative baby gating, was the stair case, which is completely open on one side. There is a railing on the other side, but it's still a little unnerving going up and down with a toddler. There is a nice, private, enclosed patio in the back. We also were in Columbus during that perfect time of autumn, so the whole experience was divine. The owners were very receptive to our questions and requests.
We spent a little bit more than four months in the house on Kerr Street. It is a nice old house with the Italian village park just outside the door. The house is tastefully furnished and well equipped. All descriptions of the house that we read were fully accurate and the owner is really helpful so there should be nothing to worry about. Furthermore, the location of the house is in the middle of Short North with a lot of service, such as supermarket, restaurants, bars, gym, galleries and shops within walking distance. Also, The Ohio State University is within walking distance as well (approx. 30 minutes).
My husband and I spent a delightful four weeks in this comfortably renovated 1920's city neighborhood house. The owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
More than roomy for 2 adults as in the large bedroom (one of two) with bright afternoon windows. Such a well equipped kitchen that we hosted three dinner parties for local friends during our stay. Cozy front room downstairs for reading and relaxing with TV. Photos accurate but do not fully reflect the charm.
One of the best aspects of the Kerr St. accommodations has to be the location. There are dozens of diverse and popular restaurants, unique food and clothing shops, specialty markets, a large beautiful city park with tennis courts and a multiplex cinema within 10 minutes walk.
If it was so enjoyable during a cold and snowy January the rest of the year would be something we would definitely consider for our next visit to Columbus
Located on the Italian Village Park in the heart of the Short North. Short walk to the finest galleries, restaurants, nightlife and entertainment, home and specialty retail shopping in Columbus. One mile south of the Ohio State University campus, and less than one mile north of downtown and German Village.
