Beautiful modern apartment at the beginning of the Castello quarter, Salizada San Lio. Extremely central- 2 minutes walk from Rialto and 10 minutes from San Mark Square, yet in a very Venetian area served by local shops, cafes and restaurants. By San Lio Church, and just off S.Maria Formosa and Santa Marina squares with their lively open air cafes. In S.Maria Formosa two Art Museums -Fondazione Querini Stampalia and Palazzo Grimani, and lots more art to discover in the area- Miracoli Church, SS. Giovanni e Paolo, San Zaccaria.

Facing the Salizada and with private street entrance, this apartment is in a house comprising 4 flats completely restored to extremely high standards in 2010.

These apartments are a perfect scene for a fantastic family or romantic holiday in the historic centre of the town. Maid service is available on request.

The Lion's house is a newly restored flat in Salizada San Lio, Castello. They have been furnished with design and modern taste, and objects carefully chosen by Caroline. They have finished a complete restoration in September 2010. The Lion's apt 3 has 2 bedrooms, 1 large double and 1 twin bedroom; 2 bathrooms a large living and dining area with 32' flat TV on the wall and a full kitchen. The kitchen is provided with blender, toaster, kettle, dish washer, washing machine, oven, microwave and a four ring stove. The larger bathroom has a cabin shower, WC and sink and the smaller has a WC and a sink. There is air conditioning for the Summer and floor heating for the winter. All pavement is in wood and the ceiling has old restored beams. The entrance door in every apartment has an armoured door and the lift arrive at every floor.

We stayed in Apartment 3.
Spacious and comfortable apartment. It is Lift access so that we don't have to carry our heavy luggage going up stairs.well equip kitchen and also a washing machine.
Located in between Rialto bridge and St. Marco square, very convenient location.
Pictures show here are exactly the same as the real apartment.

The apartment is in an ideal location within walking distance to all of the sights. The apartment was equiped with everything we needed and wanted for us and our two young children. The apartment was furnished with a high chair, cot and plastic cutlery.

The property was clean and well-maintained and the owner and staff provided excellent customer service.

We would definitely recommend this property to travellers with young children and even older children.

We had a fabulous stay in Venice! Marco was very helpful, coming to meet us at the ferry stop and giving us helpful tips about what to see and do and even booking a restaurant for us! The apartment was brand new, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Also it has an elevator which is a big (unusual) plus in Venice! We were traveling with a baby and I was impressed that Marco had taken the time to provide a change mat, a crib, a high chair and plastic cutlery. A very thoughtful touch! He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The location is excellent: 2 min from Rialto bridge, 1 min from Susa (the excellent ice cream store nearby!) and under 10 min to San Marco square. Our stay was magical. I would highly recommend this place.

We spent a very enjoyable week in this appartment.

The property had been recently refurbished, I think. It was well-appointed and well-equipped and had been thoroughly cleaned. The owner provided a travel cot for our young child and kindly also lent some toys. The property was perfectly suitable for a toddler.

There were good cooking / kitchen facilities, which was important to us as we ate in most of the time (because of our child).

We found Marco Malafante to be very charming and organised, and not at all obtrusive. He met us at the Grand Canal and helped us with baggage to the property. He provided all the assistance that we could ask for but otherwise left us to ourselves.

The property is well located in the heart of Venice.

We would certainly recommend this property to friends.

this house is very nice..it was clean and new...near rialto bridge and san marco...if we go back again in venice..we'll definitely go back..
