Watermill history: The ancient watermill was called the 'Buratale or Barufati or Valletto', the building is located on the left bank of the river Tarodine, not far from the main road SP20 to the Pass of Brattello, to Valdena direction.
The last working year was 1962 and the watermill was fully converted in house in 1970 and restored again in 2010.
Informations to arrive: The Taro Valley is easily accessible by highway A15 Parma-La Spezia, exit Borgotaro. The main town, Borgo Val di Taro, is 15 km from the exit.

The inhabitants of Borgotaro have always been involved in a strong emotional bond with the Tarodine.
