Why Mark Hancock chose Brighton

Fabulous skiing (Walk In/Out), Club Solitude with all the recreation in same building.

What makes this condo unique

We loved being in Club Solitude building and have a corner unit with many large windows. Additionally, we loved the large great room and kitchen area. We have been looking for years and when this unique unit came available we moved quickly.

Best Solitude condo and best owner

  • 5 of 5

I have rented at Solitude for 5 years. Although I've never had a bad condo, but Mark's condo is head and shoulders above any other condo that I've rented. When we walked in, the first thing that we noted is that the condo doesn't look like a rental, but like the home of a friend that loaned their place to you -- the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is fabulous, and the family room is plush and comfortable. Due to snowfall, we cooked in the condo several nights, and the kitchen was well-appointed. Mark (the owner) is a pleasure to deal with and a responsive communicator. The next time we book for Solitude, Mark's condo is the first one that I'll try to get.

Scottsdale Family

Charming, comfortable condo located right in the center of Solitude Village. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the video library for our children. I would highly recommend this condo for families. Mark was very accommodating and easy to work with.

Top-Notch! Best Condo and Location I've rented

  • 5 of 5

The first step in every VRBO transaction is contacting the owner. Mark is knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions or concerns. If anything needs to be addressed on-site, he is local and can help out asap. Thanks Mark!

Everything about the condo is definitely top-notch! In the past I've rented from owners where the listed amenities were either inaccessible or in poor condition, but Mark's condo is NOT the case. The underground/heated garage was spacious for our rental Tahoe SUV and accessible by elevator. The locker rooms were located near the entrance/exit to the slopes. The lockers were large enough to store all my friends ski's/snowboards, so there were no leftover puddles on the floor of the condo. Pool/hot tub/game room is a quick elevator ride away and were all in like-new condition.

Besides the amenities, the condo itself is even more comfortable than the pictures. Great views and is a quick walk to the nearest lift is icing on the cake. You will not be disappointed!

Nicest ski condo we've ever rented

  • 5 of 5

Solitude is a wonderful place to spend a long weekend, and this condo is a wonderful place to stay at Solitude! Mark, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. The condo is beautifully decorated (either Mark is an interior designer or he should be!) and luxuriously appointed. The unit has every A/V device you could ask for--just make sure and bring a teenager along to figure them out! The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen brand-new and well-equipped (we cooked every meal in and wanted for nothing--but make sure and shop for groceries before you enter the canyon), and the living area a wonderful place to 'flop' after a long day of skiing. We really enjoyed 'Club Solitude,' conveniently located right downstairs--the hot tubs were large and lovely, and my son and husband had fun playing pool. Solitude is a great little resort--this architecture critic appreciated the layout of the village and quality construction--plenty of terrain to explore, and ZERO lift lines (even on MLK weekend) and ZERO 'frustration factor.' If you're going to Solitude, I highly recommend this unit!

Perfect white Christmas experience!

  • 5 of 5

We are from Australia and were looking for a white Christmas experience with our family in the snow for our first visit to Utah. Solitude lived up to all our expectations of a quaint, uncrowded resort and the condo was just lovely, with comfortable decor and modern appliances. We cooked in the fabulous kitchen and enjoyed the amenities of Club Solitude, gym, pool and spa. The condo is located just a short walk to the ski lifts where we enjoyed the uncrowded slopes. Mark was very accommodating of all our questions and queries and easy to deal with. I would recommend this property as it ticked all the boxes and the additional bedding in the second bedroom made it perfect for families with teenagers. We got shuttle transport to/from the resort and brought all our food, drink, wine etc (as the village shop is very limited). Solitude is a quiet village with a couple of restaurants, gift shop, ski hire etc. which was exactly what we were looking for our Christmas ski holiday.

Solitude is well named

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a nice place to spend a few days near Salt Lake City and found this very nice condo on the VERBO site. The agent replied quickly to all questions and sent a detailed email explaining the procedure. If you like peace and quiet, spend some time at a sky resort weekdays in the summer. The unit was nicely decorated and the kitchen had a good supply of utensils. Folks from the east may think a minute about renting without AC, but with temps in the high 90ty's in SLC in barely touched 80 at midday up the canyon and it quickly cooled in the afternoon. The amenities were top notch and available to all guests not just owners. Solitude is a great place for a quiet get away without the commercialization of Park City Its name says it all!
