Why Cathy Sutherland or Ron Bailey chose Vashon Island
We have close family and friends living on Vashon Island and we love going there to visit them. When this 1920's cabin came up for sale, with its ideal location, we could see the potential and just had to buy it. It needed a lot of love and care and a lot of ivy removed. As the work advanced we knew we had a real Vashon Island treasure.
What makes this cottage unique
The peaceful location combined with watching the variety of boats passing by relaxed us in a way we hadn't felt in a long time. Immediately we felt that we were on vacation You are surrounded by the beauty of the Puget Sound just sitting in the living room or making a meal. My husband fell in love with the little house and brought me to see it. He fixed it up with the love he brings to all the houses he works on making it a special place to be.
