Family members have summered at Seahaven cottage for over 100 years. Seahaven cottage and Harpswell are part of our family history. We now live in many parts of the United States. Seahaven cottage is where we can meet and enjoy one anothers company.
We all love a good read. We have intellectual passions like geology, history, and foreign languages. Most of us are fairly sporty with particular favorites of hiking, skiing, swimming, kayaking, kung fu and tennis.
Harpswell is the place we want to vacation in the summer. We have come here every summer of our lives. We have many friends and family members who live in other locations in South Harpswell. We enjoy visiting with them whenever we come to Harpswell.
Seahaven cottage is on a narrow peninsula that juts out into Casco Bay. The temperature is moderated by the ocean, remaining warmer in the fall and cooler in the summer. The surrounding ocean offers excellent opportunities for kayaking and other boating. Our family loves to swim in the invigorating water of Casco Bay.
