Brunston castle is most easily reached by air, from flights arriving at Prestwick airport (the only place in the United Kingdom that Elvis Presley ever set foot!) which is only 20 minutes north of the complex. There are plenty of hire cars available at this airport. Glasgow International Airport is closer to 50 minutes away and is a truly International airport with flights from all four corners of the globe.
There are ferry routes to Brunston and many different ways you can arrive by car.
Golf: Golf is synonymous with Scotland & Brunston Castle is a course not to be missed!
The course is located in the naturally sheltered valley of Girvan and in the shadows of the South Carrick hills. This is a championship length, par 72 parkland course, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Clever use of the natural contours of the land which is bisected by the river Girvan and the creation of a number of strategically placed ponds, have created some spectacular and memorable fairways!
'Sheltered by the rolling South Carrick Hills, this scenic course is speckled with mature trees and roundels. The course, challenging from the championship tees, is testing and engaging from the members' tees and excites golfers of all levels.' (Exc. from Club's Website)
