The residence is located on the very northern tip called Capo Falcone, which over looks the Island of Asinara National Park and the most popular and stunning La Pelosa Beach, with its amazingly clear and turquoise shallow waters. Various activities as jet skis, diving, sailing and boat rental are available. Located on the north west tip of Sardinia, Stintino is an easy 45 minute drive from Alghero airport and a popular tourist resort. Fresh Seafood features in the restaurants in Stintino including harbour side dining. Opposite Stintino is the island of Asinara now a nature reserve with day trips by boat available from Stintino new harbour. Sailing, diving and snorkelling are all available locally. Le Saline beach is also nearby and over 1 km long and has the unique 'rice grains' of sand. The local Agriturismos are well worth a visit where you can sample the delights of traditional Sardinian food and local wine. Further afield but within easy reach is the historic town of Alghero.
