This beautiful Noe Valley flat offers every amenity for a comfortable stay. It is the upper duplex unit of a two flat Victorian. The lower level has a large eat-in gourmet kitchen that has just been remodeled in the Victorian style. It has a Wolf range, dishwasher, full-size washer/dryer, and a full complement of high-quality cooking equipment. Beautiful natural stone counter tops provide ample working space.The kitchen is equipped with quality pots, utensils (including sharp knives), and dining service for 8. You will enjoy our kitchen whether you are bringing in pizza or cooking a 5 course meal.
Adjoining the kitchen is a small but charming sitting room with a stunning Twin Peaks view. A nearby bathroom is complete with a new clawfoot tub and updated Victorian fixtures. A beautifully furnished formal dinning room seats 6 . On this level there is a newly furnished bedroom with a queen-size bed. The living room with bay windows and a view of San Francisco Bay completes the lower level.
The upper level consists of a bedroom with a king-size bed and more Bay views. The upper level full bath has two sinks with a granite counter top and tiled shower. The upper level also features our much loved 400 square foot deck with gorgeous Bay and Twin Peaks views- and hot tub!
A driveway parking space is provided with this unit.
The unit is well-served by public transit. We are located on the #35 bus line and one block from the #24 bus. Both these buses link with the Muni light rail system, bringing you within 20-30 minutes of downtown San Francisco or Ocean Beach. A 20-minute walk or the #48 bus takes you to the 24th Street BART station, linking to downtown, and all of the Bay Area cities and airports.
We have enjoyed the Noe Valley community for over thirty years. We raised or grown-up sons here. When we are not in San Francisco, we are on our Kona coffee farm in Hawaii.

This flat is ideally located and tastefully furnished throughout; complemented by our unique collection of paintings and prints. The furniture is comfortable as well as attractive. The views are stunning from almost every room. The unit covers 1600 square feet not including the large redwood deck. Parking is provided.
It is located in the heart of gracious Noe Valley, one of San Francisco's most desirable neighborhoods. Whether you walk, take public transit or drive, the unit is conveniently located.
I was very excited to pull up to this beautiful house. Very clean and furnished nicely! Lots of restaurants and amenities around the neighborhood. We did travel up the coast and had a rental car. Parking was trying. The first evening, there was a vehicle across the driveway, but in the morning we were able to park in front of the house. We had dinner the first night at Contigo on 1320 Castro Street (at 24th) and it was sooo good! Second day we walked to Haight & Ashbury. Was a bit of hike, literally, but got to see the San Francisco streets as you should. Toured the Fisherman's Wharf. Came home around 6:30pm to find our rental car's back window smashed out and items stolen (mostly souvenirs that cannot be replaced). I would definitely not recommend leaving anything in your vehicle in this area. I was told by the Enterprise Car Rental that they had two other incidents claimed the same day.....smash & grabs. Police only do a report over the phone, no one came out to look at the situation, so pretty much sure the thief will never be caught. We brushed this off and the next day visited the Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito. We also did the Alcatraz night tour and it was fabulous! So other than the car incident and no hot tub as promised, this house is in a great spot and I'd recommend it to visitors.
A home away from home! This beautiful Victorian flat is truly a gem. The listing photos are certainly accurate but do not do justice - a must see! An easy walk to 24th Street brings you to an array of quaint shops and fine dining - dining to satisfy any and all budgets. A meal at "home" should not be missed - a well equipped, modern kitchen with spectacular views! The view from the rooftop deck will take your breath away!
If you must leave the neighbourhood there is easy access and easy to use public transportation. The Muni light rail system will take you to the Wharf and Terminal Building - more sights, shopping (local artisans) and dining. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy AT&T Park - spectacular ballpark. City Guides, a program of San Francisco Public Library offer numerous, FREE walking tours throughout the city. We enjoyed a two hour excursion of Nob Hill.
After a long day of sightseeing you will certainly appreciate the very comfortable accommodations. Multiple visits to San Francisco - this is our favourite place to stay! Thank you Louise and Marvin!

The neighborhood that this flat is in is terrific! There were restaurants and shops within walking distance. I loved the area. The whole process was so easy. We didn't have any issues the week we were there. The parking spot that Louise provides is also terrific as parking can be a challenge throughout the city. The flat was spacious and had everything anyone would need. The photos provided in the listing were accurate as everything appeared as described. I would definitely recommend staying here. If I return to San Francisco, this is where I am staying.
This house provides a perfect location in Noe Valley for a San Francisco stay. It is exactly as advertised and provided us with a comfortable 'home from home' while spending a week in SF visiting our daughter. It is immaculate and very well fitted out especially in the kitchen which has everything a cook needs. The owner is highly responsive and timely. Short walking distance from 24th Street (Noe Valley's main drag) and Whole Foods etc. We would unquestionably recommend this stay.
We had a terrific stay in this wonderful Noe Valley flat. The photos and description of the place are very accurate. Louise was very helpful and prompt in answering our questions. It was great to have an off street parking spot and in-suite laundry. The suite is in an older building which is very charming and we loved it. There are pretty potted plants all up the front steps and on the deck. The apartment is spacious which is good for two couples or a family. We especially liked the privacy afforded by having the bedrooms on two different floors. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and Louise and Marvin leave a good information package for the renters. The whole place is bright and there are views all around. The roof top deck was a fantastic spot to sit and take in the views. The kitchen is fabulous, although we found so many good restaurants within walking distance that we hardly stayed in. Noe Valley is a great area for walking - lots of shops and restaurants. We would recommend this property to family or friends and look forward to returning ourselves one day.
I stayed with friends at this apt. in July, 2013. I've rented vacation apartments in San Francisco more or less annually for the last 20 years. This was one of the 2 or 3 best I've rented in terms of comfort, condition, amenities & value. The whole apartment was tasteful & immaculate. The mattresses were comfortable & in good condition. Towels & linens likewise. Internet, washer/dryer, etc were all easy to use. The apt. itself actually feels more spacious than the pictures indicate. Check in was easy.
We were a little concerned about the stairs (one flight to the entrance, + another 2 flights to the top floor) but they were not a problem. The stairs are wide, gradual & easy to negotiate. Having bedrooms on 2 levels is ideal for 2 individuals or couples sharing. The bathroom on the main floor has only a small tub (like a soaking tub) with a spray attachment, rather than an actual shower with curtain--but this is just something to note rather than a significant drawback.
We did not use the hot tub, but we had trouble pulling ourselves away from the deck. The view out over a sea of Victorians & churches is wonderful, and the cool San Francisco air is paradise for east-coasters. The neighborhood is ideal, with a true San Francisco feel, centrally located but away from the tourist madness. There's a wide variety of good restaurants and interesting shops on 24th Street. Whole Foods is a 5 minute walk from the apt., and there is a Safeway a 5 minute drive up the hill. Many thanks to Louise for taking such care to provide a good experience for renters! I hope to stay here again.
The unit is located in the heart of Noe Valley, one of the most walk friendly neighborhoods in San Francisco. Two blocks from 24th St. a premier shopping and restaurant destination. Also two blocks from 2 parks with tennis courts, play structures, basketball courts and lawns.

Refundable reservation/security deposit of $200 or $500 for stays longer than 3 weeks is due within 24 hours of booking via paypal.
Full payment is due 3 weeks before occupancy.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
