Barony Bell Apartment is a modern apartment located within central Glasgow. This bright and spacious 1 bedroom apartment is available, with stylish modern décor and furnishings. Furnished to a very high standard with all modern facilities we aim to ensure that our guests have a enjoyable and comfortable stay. The bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a king size bed. The large open plan lounge and dining area can easily accommodate 4 persons. The kitchen has all new modern appliances, including, filter coffee machine, a dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven. There is also a washer/dryer available. The lounge has a sofa, sofa bed and flat screen TV with Freeview, ipod docking station and DVD. NETFLIX now available through your own PC.

A welcome pack including, biscuits, tea and coffee is waiting for you on arrival.

Enjoying a prime location in the desirable Merchant City area this apartment is perfectly placed. Just a short walk away there is a great selection of shops and award winning bars and restaurants. The main bus and rail stations are a short 10 - 15 min walk, as is Glasgow's Metro.

We have stayed in Glasgow hotels on may occasions. this was the first time in an apartment. Barony bell is well appointed apartment, in a good location, just off Merchant Square. Ideal for Dinning. Within easy walking access of the city centre, Buchanan Street and argyle Street areas. yet you are able to relax. The apartment itself was spotless with everything you would need for a prolonged stay, we were there a week. Should you want/need anything in the food line there is a Tesco Direct at the bottom of the block which has sufficient for most needs. so you don't need to carry. As we arrived by bus travel was eased when not having to think about the extra weight. Highly recommended, we will be returning next year.

This apartment was perfect for our week's stay in Glasgow, as it was within easy walking distance of the Glasgow Green, (where the Pipe Band Championships were held and our main reason for visiting Glasgow), as well as close to the town centre and many shopping areas.

The 'hop on hop off' tour also has a stop just across the road near Merchant City, where there's Saturday craft market held weekly.

We were also thrilled to have a car park below the flat, as it meant that we could transfer our things easily up to the flat and not have to worry about returning the hire car, finding our way to the flat with all our things in hand, then do everything in reverse when it came time to continue our travels.

Moira was a delight to deal with - professional yet friendly and she has set the apartment up so it has all you would need for a comfortable week's stay. She also was easily contactable and helpful when required.

The Barony Bell apartment was just what we needed after two hectic weeks of road travel! We were so wanting space, a bath tub and laundry facilities as well as the comfort and lovely touches of Barony. Moira was extremely helpful and gracious as well. The apartment is on the edge of Merchant City, a vibrant area of restaurants and shopping, so convenient to walking Glasgow. The bed was extremely comfortable and the large bath a delight for my tall husband. The kitchen had all that one would desire for preparing a nice stay-in meal of which we took full advantage! We highly recommend Barony Bell apartment and hope to return to bonnie Scotland someday.

Having worked in Property & Urban Regeneration for over 20yrs I decided to take a redundancy package and started my holiday letting business 3 years ago. I felt Glasgow was the ideal location being a welcoming and friendly city with fantastic architecture, great tourist attractions and fantastic restaurants and night life.

I particularly liked this property as it is in a great location in the city centre and only a short walk from the main things people would wish to see and do.

As it is a modern building it has all the mod cons people need, in addition to being a cosy base from which to visit the city.

What makes this apartment unique

It's been said before but Location, Location, Location. The apartment gives easy access to all of Glasgows attractions.

Stayed here for two nights before/after our daughter's wedding. The bride's party was in the Barony Gate apartment - different street (just round the corner) but linked by same underground garage. The apartments were lovely - well appointed, spotless and spacious. Moira couldn't have been more helpful. The location wasn't that important to us but for a holiday visit to Glasgow it would be ideal.

I can't recommend it enough.

City centre convenience with home comforts

We had to stay in Glasgow around Christmas, and we chose to stay at Barony Bell because we had the convenience of a city centre location with much better facilities than a hotel room.

It is pretty spacious for a one-bedroom city centre apartment and has all you need for a longer stay. It was warm, comfortable, very clean, neat and stylish. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is very well-appointed - all the comforts of home!

The apartment has secure parking underground, and keypad foyer entry so we were very relaxed during our stay, which meant we could concentrate on our holiday. Which we enjoyed very much, thank you, Moira!

The Perfect Glasgow Vacation

It is really difficult to write a review on experience here, except for to say...PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. From the initial inquiry Moira made the experience easy and unforgettable. Moira met us at the apartment, showed us around and from that moment on it was like we were residents of this fine city, and not tourists.

The apartment was sparkling clean (even the common areas were very nice) and had every amenity required for an extraordinary rental experience. We felt right at home in the flat, and in the neighborhood. While there is no official parking, we never had an issue finding a spot right outside the apartment, and we felt safe enough to leave our brand new rent car on the street. Parking was reasonable at 2 pounds for 4 hours, so not an issue at all.

There is a Tesco Market right downstairs, so we had a lot of fun stocking up on groceries and cooking our own meals. The kitchen is way cool, and you can soon figure out where they "hid" the fridge and dishwasher!

Didn't have much time for sitting around, but the WiFi worked great and was faster then at home, so we were all set. This is a flat, so you do get to experience whatever the neighborhood is experiencing, but this just added to the charm of our visit.

Overall, this is one of the few places in the world that we visited that we would actually consider coming back to (there is so much of the world to see). Don't look any further, just call Moira and book this lovely flat... immediately!

This was a great experience for my wife and i. We left Glasgow 34years ago and decided we wanted to stay in the heart of Glasgow when we came back on holiday.This apartment has a great location, close to all the great restaurants and many of Glasgows attractions.The owners were very hospitable and accomodating and were there to greet us on our arrival.It is a very comfortable, clean, bright and "cozy" apartment and i not only would recommend it, but go back to Bell St. on any future trips back home.

brilliant.. book it!!

we stayed in a very snowy Glasgow end of November 2010. Lovely flat - exceeded our expectations. Is everything & more than the description. Cosy, warm & very clean. We travelled by train, walked from Central Station took approx 10 minutes if that. Even though we were centrally located it was very quiet. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom modern & very clean. Kitchen very well stocked. Merchant City is just 5 minutes walk from Buchannan Street & shops. Just a few blocks away from St George's Square. Brilliant. Definitely staying here again & again. More private than a hotel.
