Hi! Thanks for clicking on my rental. Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Lina and I moved to Squamish in 2001 from Australia but grew up in Ontario. I only heard of Squamish from a stranger that I met for a very brief moment and he raved about how beautiful Squamish is and how the town was changing from a lumber industry town to a tourism town. After my divorce, I decided I wanted to return back home to Canada and I knew I wanted raise my kids in a small community where there were mountains and water for us to enjoy. I then surfed on the internet about Squamish and I was able to check off everything that I was looking for. It was final, I decided to make the move to Squamish.
During our drive up to Squamish , I can still remember that special feeling I had in my stomach as I drove up and looked out at the views. Seriously, my jaw was open with awe and my eyes just couldn't believe the natural beauty that was in front of me; not just for one second, but through the whole journey up the Sea to Sky Highway. I knew then I was making the right choice and, now after 12 yrs, I still feel the same way. My kids wonder why each time we drive back home from Vancouver I always say 'Wow! look at how beautiful it is'. I just reply because it is beautiful and it is amazing.
Even though I think Squamish is my favorite place I still love to venture out. I am a traveler at heart and have traveled most of Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, South America, Europe and of course been to many places throughout the USA. Yet there is still so much I want to see and experience and discover. I usually travel abroad a few times a year.
Lina purchased this house in 2004
Why Lina chose Squamish
I picked this location to because of it's great, gorgeous views of the snow capped coastal mountains, and its' close proximity to everything. From local amenities to easy access to Highway 99 for commuting to Vancouver or Whistler.
What makes this house unique
