What a pleasant experience. Celebrating engagements, birthdays, friendship, and love to oneness. This garden is a special place in each of our hearts. Give thanks, do good, practice yoga self love and compassion. Mahalo for the beautiful time & stories. Lots of tasty foods were made i that kitchen.
The area is so special and the history fascinating, but the facilities and the overall feel we got from the property was that we we're truly staying in the valley of the king. The staff were attentive to our every need and were extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds on the property are very well maintained and the species markers on the exotic fruit trees and other tropical plants were very informative. We all felt so welcome here and everyone in our group intends to visit Hawaii again and we all feel we just have to stay here again! Thank you so much (Mahalo)
I never thought we would be able to stay in the Valley and it was a great treat. John gave us constant care and tours of waterfalls and fruits. Edible fruits. We all. Loved it.
As mentioned, my family and I stayed at this house for our vacation in December and all of us were taken aback by the serenity this place housed. Most importantly, the owner was very hospitable with all our queries and concerns. We will definitely come back and this time, we won't plan for anything else but to stay in the Valley. It's simply splendid (minus the mosquitoes...but just bring repellant). Lots of hiking, swimming at the beach, eating fruits, and my favorite- just enjoying the majesty of the Valley.
I visited the property while I was on the island because I booked it for my family for our winter vacation this year and wanted to see it before everyone arrived. I thought the pictures on this site would be exaggerated so since I was already on the island for other purposes, I decided to drop by. Well, lo and behold, the pictures are precise! In fact, I think the pictures don't do justice to the property as a whole because the botanical garden also includes a lily pond and many beautiful tropical flowers. The backyard is a true organic orchard...talk about a slice of paradise. No word of lie, there were jackfruits, avocados, mangoes, papayas, and oranges, to name a few. The waterfalls are a few steps away. The property is a trek to get to but with a 4x4 and daylight, you should be fine. It takes about 20 minutes to get there from the Lookout. We are all very excited to enjoy our holidays there soon.
Enjoy a wide variety of exotic fruits and flowers on property. 20 min. walk to the beach through lush rainforest. 5 minute walk to waterfalls and pools for swimming. Stunning cliff faces, crystal clear rivers, running wild horses - the real Hawaii experience
