The Apartment is located in the west end of Wapping, less than half of one mile from the City of London, very close to St Katherine's Dock with Waitrose Supermarket on your door step as well as Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

Wapping is a village that is very popular with people who work in the City given it's close proximity to the City of London. The River Thames and Wapping Lane is in the immediate area where there are many excellent quality Restaurants and Bars, offering quality food at affordable prices. There are many local Taxi Companies that will take you to any of the airports or any destination in London. Black Taxis are available 100 yards from the Property.

Photos flatteuses, réalité décevante.

Les photos présentées dans le descriptif sont plutôt flatteuses et ont été prises quand l'appartement était neuf. Maintenant la réalité est différente, l'appartement à mal vieilli et il est mal entretenu. Il y a des trous dans les murs, les stores des fenêtres sont presque tous cassés, le plan de travail dans la cuisine est brûlé, la lumière de la salle de bains ne marchait pas. Surtout l'appartement était sale à notre arrivée : morceaux de verre cassé sur les plaques électriques, miettes dans l'évier, vaisselle sale, table sale (et surtout ne pas regarder sous les lits), fenêtres dégoûtantes. Il manquait beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine pour un appartement prévu pour 8/10 personnes, et seulement 7 chaises en tout. Salle de bains minuscules. Nous n'avons pas eu d'accès internet pendant tout le séjour, malgré les promesses faites par mail avant d'arriver. Et surtout un des deux canapés-lit du salon était cassé et l'autre presque inutilisable tellement inconfortable. Il n'y a aucun état des lieux au départ comme à l'arrivée, la personne qui nous a reçus était très pressée, il a fallu se débrouiller avec le canapé lit cassé. La surface de l'appartement nous a déçus aussi : plus près des 80 m2 que de 120 m2.
Sinon, environnement et quartier très agréables et pratiques.
Owner's Response: Le parti qui est resté dans cet appartement pour 7 nuits étions un groupe de 9 personnes. La connexion Internet (comme annoncé), est une unité haut débit USB dédié qui s'insère dans l'ordinateur portable nécessitant une connexion dial up que pour la plupart des ordinateurs portables est un réfrigérateur automatic.The est neuf et en parfait état. Si toutefois la porte du réfrigérateur reste ouverte pendant toute une longueur de temps alors comme n'importe quel réfrigérateur, la capacité de refroidissement est réduite. Tous nos clients sont accueillis à l'arrivée, le plus souvent par notre directeur Appartement. Sur cette ocassion, aucune préoccupation n'a été exprimée à nous au sujet de la condition allégua sale de l'appartement à l'arrivée ou à tout moment pendant le séjour de 7 jours.

Tous nos appartements sont professionnellement nettoyé et la seule préoccupation exprimée à l'égard de la condition appartement, était par notre directeur Appartement sur ??le jour du départ comme une conséquence de la condition sale dans lequel l'appartement avait été laissé

Great Location - Needs Cleaning

This flat accomoadted us well except it was quite dirty. There were lights out, and the wireless is available but only for a charge and requires sign in information. The price and location are enough to take this place, but beware - it is dirty and is much smaller than the pictures make it appear - they got a great photographer. Still in the end the price and location were excellent and overcame the dirt and size. Just need to know what you are getting. The pictures are a bit deceiving. The fridge is not very cold, and there is no dryer, just a clothes washer and dishwasher.
Owner's Response: The party that stayed at this apartment for 7 nights were a party of 9 persons (7 Adults and 2 Children). The Internet connection (as advertised), is a dedicated USB Broadband Unit that fits into the laptop requiring a dial up connection that for most laptops is automatic.The fridge is new and in perfect condition. If however the fridge door is left open for a any length of time then like any fridge, the chilling ability is reduced. All our guests are greeted on arrival, usually by our Apartment Manager. On this ocassion, no concern was expressed to us regarding the alledged dirty condition of the apartment on arrival or at any time during the 7 day stay.

All our apartments are professionally cleaned and the only concern expressed with regard to the apartment condition, was by our Apartment Manager on the day of departure as a consequence of the filthy condition in which the apartment had been left
