New Luxury 2 Bedroom & 2 Bath Condo With Pool Views. (Sleeps 4)
Our home away from home is in Zama Village. The first luxury condo complex in the 24 hour secured development of Aldea Zama. We are located in the jungle only 1.5+ miles to the nearest Tulum beaches, restaurants, bars & shopping in town. The local major Grocery store, Chedraui, is 1 mile away.
1 King size bed in the master bedroom & 1 queen size bed in the guest bedroom, along with a queen sized air bed. Both are set with high quality linens & black out shades for sleeping in, naps and privacy. All 3 major rooms have their own air conditioners and ceiling fans for the hot months. Our unit is conveniently located on the ground level with a wall of window sliders, opening to the view of the pool, which is only 8 feet off of the living room. The long & narrow communal pool is no more than 5 feet deep & also has a kiddie pool for the little ones. The front entry to Zama Village requires a security code & all the other gates require keys for entry. We have security personnel checking in & around the complex from dusk until dawn & 24 hour during the weekends. There is a small patio set for use on our patio in front of the pool, as well as a tiled, back patio off of the Master Bedroom. The 2nd Bedroom closets are stocked with beach towels, sand & pool toys, a child sized life jacket, pool lounger cushions & collapsible coolers. Both Bedrooms have a TV along with a Blu Ray/DVD player and dozens of movies. Room décor is nearly all hand crafted local artwork and furniture. We have completely supplied our kitchen with Tri-Clad cookware, Wüsthof cutlery & every thing you could possibly need to make the perfect meal using all the fabulous, fresh local fish, meats, fruits & veggies. Bring your favorite coffee beans & use the Braun grinder & coffee maker or buy some at the large local grocery store Chedraui, less than 1 mile away. A quality blender is there for the morning, power chia fruit smoothies, or blended mango margaritas in the afternoon/evening. We supply 2, 20 liter bottles of drinking water, which can be exchanged at the local grocery store for 25 pesos (sounds crazy but most rentals here do not provide drinking water!) We have a washer & dryer & a drying rack, along with the soaps & softeners needed to help ease the load from your packing list of clothing.
There is an ongoing ‘Welcome to our other home’ binder loaded with information about our home, WiFi passcodes for the community area WiFi access (our living room picks it up just fine) the local sights, cenotes, beach clubs & the most important (for us)…restaurants. Come November of 14’ our unit will finally be wired to have private Internet access, which we will have for our guests. Streaming of movies or TV will not be a problem.
An emergency phone number list with the fire station (½ mile away), hospital address & # (1 mile away) & the police (½ mile away).
Bose iPod/iPhone Soundocks are in both bedrooms & the living room/kitchen area for your music.
The liquor cabinet drawers are stocked with sets of maps for Tulum & every other region in the Riviera Maya for the explorers.
It is also stocked with locally made incense, right next to the phone # for the masseuse to schedule your massage (not included) for the extra relaxation boost.
There are flashlights (red light) for watching Turtles nest on the beach or watching the babies hatch at night. 2 normal flashlights for late night walks thru Aldea Zama sidewalks thru the jungle. 2 night-lights throughout the condo, which automatically turn on via a movement sensor OR if the power should ever go out.
There are 2 bikes with baskets, locks & a tire pump for trekking into town or the beach, used at your own risk of course. We strongly suggest not riding at night!

We returned as often as we could while working as hard as we could, dreaming of owning small piece of paradise. Once we felt the laid back feel of Tulum, and the 6 miles of the most beautiful beach we had seen, we knew we wanted to make Tulum a piece of us. And before we knew it, we were able to buy our home away from home in Tulum. Our home isn't a churn & burn rental property, it is our home. We have the highest of quality furnishings & accessories & do our best to make sure it is clean & fresh for every guest.
