We absolutely love our condo at Kona Pacific Condos and we're sure you will too. Just a 5 minute walk to town and a 3 minute walk to the beach, the condo complex is incredibly quiet and the grounds and building are kept super clean and manicured by the amazing staff.
The condo itself is a one bedroom two bath unit that comfortably sleeps 4. There is a queen bed in the large master bedroom as well as a queen Murphy bed. You could even squeeze in one more on the couch if necessary. A two large sliders open up onto the 200 sq ft lanai which overlooks the grounds and out to the ocean and mountains, giving the room a wonderful sense of openness that benefits from the cooling trade winds.
The master bath has a huge tub/shower in which to luxuriate after your day in the sun in preparation for a night on the town. And if you feel like settling down on the lanai for a quick nap or a drink before dinner the setting is very private and cannot be seen from other condos.
The living room is large, light and airy, and affords a great view out onto the lanai, which again overlooks the gardens and the ocean. Here, too the trade winds have a cooling effect that benefits the entire condo and the air conditioning that is available isn't really needed because who wants to close the doors to the lanai anyway?
The kitchen features granite countertops and a breakfast bar where drinks can be served for your apres beach party. A galley kitchen has everything you need to prepare as many meals as you choose to prepare. The kitchen is stocked with items such as a waffle iron, coffee maker where you can enjoy locally grown Kona coffee, and blender where you whip up your Pina Coladas. Down by the pool, the cabana has two large gas grills where you can get a nice sear on that Ahi you picked up at the local market.
Outside, the lanai has a very private location that prevents others from looking in while affording a nice view of the ocean towards downtown as well as the mountains to the north west. We have two underground nose to tail compact parking spots to keep you car nice and cool. Honl's beach is a 3 minute walk and provides a gentle surf, shaded areas and picnic tables, suitable for family outings. Should you decide not to go to one of the beaches in the area, the pool is just downstairs and is quiet and suitable for relaxing. The cabana provides shade and adjacent grills for cooking as well as a nice, quiet place for a chat, or a cozy place to read a book all well within the view of the pool.
But, this is just the start of your great adventure! Hiking, waterfalls, road biking, paddle boarding, bogey boarding, snorkeling and many more activities are available. We have a large selection of guide books to peruse while sipping your morning coffee and a personal concierge service is also available if you need recommendations during your stay.
We provide most everything you will need to enjoy your stay including everything from bed linens, beach towels, blankets and chairs to a complete kitchen and even a cooler to take down to the beach.
The condo has a stackable washer/dryer, dishwasher, two cable TV's, blue ray player and internet. (Internet service, while dependable, is provided through an outside service provider so we cannot control or take responsibility for outages)

We are Steve and Colleen Helm and we live in Bozeman, Montana where we ski 6 months and bike 4 months a year. Unfortunately, there are two more months in the year that we like to refer to as 'mud season'.
We never thought we'd be 'Hawaii people' but in 2010 we attended a business meeting and were hooked! The biking, hiking, and surfing were great...and the food! I guess the rest is history. We like to go someplace during the Montana mud season in spring and fall and Hawaii really resonated with us. It's a place where no matter how hard we play, we still feel relaxed and recharged when we get back, ready to go back to work...for at least a couple of months...then its time to hit the Kona Coast again.

Why Colleen Helm chose Kailua Kona
Once we determined that we were interested in buying a place in Kona we looked at a lot of places. Everything from right downtown or right on the beach to right on the golf course but none of them seemed right. It was too loud downtown, the places on the beach were loud and cramped and the golf courses seemed too stuffy.
Upon entering the driveway of Kona Pacific, the first thing we noticed was that we relaxed immediately. The grounds were spotless and manicured and so we felt like that set the tone for the rest of the complex which did not disappoint. When I go on vacation, I feel like I'm paying good money and I don't want to stay in a place that's run down or dirty. Part of the relaxation aspect is knowing what you can expect and getting what you paid for. We feel like Kona Pacific provides that experience.
What makes this condo unique
The location is absolutely perfect without being in the middle of the hubbub of downtown. You can literally stroll down the hill and be at Huggo's on the Rocks, the first restaurant/bar on Ali'i Drive, in 4 minutes. You can also walk 3 minutes out of the driveway and down the path to a quiet beach park with trees for shade, picnic tables, grass and sand.
Additionally, we just remodeled the entire condo. Everything from the granite countertops and cabinets in the kitchen to the tile, paint, carpet, and bath and kitchen fixtures is brand new.
