We fell in love with the neighborhood; everything is within easy walking distance, including multiple MUNI lines and the Castro MUNI Station is just 4 blocks away. We can easily walk to the grocery store, dry cleaners, Walgreens and the Post Office. There are multiple places to eat and coffee shops within a couple of blocks.
I was here with a party of 4 for a week and this was the best home base imaginable. The place is spotless and very well appointed, with a very special garden in the back. Great location and lovely street and neighborhood, with Tartine, a fabulous bakery, just a few blocks away. Plus the massage was divine. I've stayed in numerous vacation rentals the world over and this is far and away the best place I've ever rented, from the process with the owner to the wonderful stay we had. Look no further!
We traveled to San Francisco with another family for Spring Break and thoroughly enjoyed this home. It was spacious, well decorated, quiet and clean and on a great street in Castro. The decor, gardens, bedding were all wonderful and Rico added many personal touches to make our stay even better-- flowers, nice towels, coffee/cream, fruit, cheese. We have rented many flats all over the US and several in Europe and this was by far our favorite. Hopefully we will have a chance to come back soon! Thanks Rico for making our stay fabulous!
This home away from home is even nicer in reality than in the photos online. my family and I stayed there for a week and we have not stayed somewhere with such a homely feel whilst on holiday before.
It is great for a family or group travelling together because there is a lot of private space as well as communal space and the garden is beautiful in any season.
The owner has thought of all of the small details so you don't have to and was a pleasure to deal with.
The home is located on a quiet street but within a short distance from cafes, restaurants and bars as well as a lovely park.
I would recommend this home to anyone!
thank you very much for hosting us. The apartment is wonderful. Large, lot of light, very stylish furniture, clean, quiet....we loved it. We felt like at home. It was just perfect. Every time I go to San Francisco in the future, I will always inquire with you if I can stay in one of your apartments. We really enjoyed the location and everything! It was a great vacation. Thank you!
Daniela Brighetti e amici.
