Hilo Cottage Rental Photos and Description
In Hilo town, Nitely rates include taxes, Hawaiian Owned & Operated
Our plantation cottage is located directly across of the airport, in the heart of Hilo. It is perfect for couples, friends or families traveling with children. Our affordable nightly rate includes all taxes and a minimal cleaning fee. We advocate on spending your resources on experiences instead of accommodations. The house is hooked up to county water that is clean and drinkable (no catchment systems) and located in an area with minimal Cocqui frog noise, within walking distance of restaurants, parks, and shopping.
We invite you to call our house, your home while on vacation and become a part of the local community. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood our two bedroom-one bath cottage features a spacious living room to gather in and french doors that open up to a covered lanai where you can sit and enjoy coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. We offer a full kitchen to prepare your favorite island breakfast or a meal on the go, a bathtub to clean up the kids, and LCD TV's in each room for a little down time, privacy and entertainment at the end of the day.
WiFi runs throughout the house. Ceiling fans and standing fans are located in each room (Sorry no AC available yet). Parking is located behind the house and an outdoor attachment contains a stackable washer/dryer for your convenience. This is a home and NOT a party house. Please no smoking, pets, and loud noise.

About The Owner
We're a native Hawaiian family that commutes frequently between Hilo and Honolulu. I work at the University of Hawaii and my husband prints the local newspaper. We have two teenagers and they are both gearing up for graduation from high school. We love our pets and have a rottie, a poi dog, a goat, a tortoise, and a cockatiel. When we aren't working we enjoy body surfing, hula, hiking, roller derby, and getting together with friends and family.
Why The Owner chose Hilo
We love our Leilani street plantation houses for their charm and proximity to all that Hilo has to offer.
