Waterfront , minutes from the beach, self catering, 24 hr security,

I have just returned from the most perfect holiday ever. My daughter and I wanted a special place to bond prior to exam results( they turned out great). I needed to feel safe and be by a beach and near a town. The apartment was perfect, We felt safe on the property and Carmen the housekeeper found nothing too much trouble. The cleanliness was better than my own house and nothing was lacking in the appartment from big items like extra chairs to a bottle opener for when we sat on the balcony with our wine and watched the amazing sunsets over the blue calm sea what more could we need. I often took a strole on the beach, which is a small private cove and swam in the warm tropical water late at night and felt quite safe.
The nearest town is Ocho Rios a bustling market and cruise ship destination. We loved the diverse culture and the market and the shops. We never felt threatened infact I was flattered as I have never had so much attention in years from handsome men. Rikki loved the night life and the beach parties lots to do in August loads of young people and some super sights very close ,Dunns River Falls a must to climb,Dolphin Cove where I saw a smile on my daughters face the like of which has not been there since she was a little girl when she swam with them and petted the sting rays. Mistic Mountain to have a beer looking over the whole of the bay it rivals Switzerland and Rikki zip lined znd rode the bob sled.
I did much drinking and soaking up the sun with a good book at the appartment. The beds were great the decor was pleasent and the attention to detail was second to non.I could find no fault so dont listen to tales of it is not safe for women alone we had a great,safe,lush holiday. Both will return next year without a doubt.Belinda(the owner) went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed and was very helpful with information about the area good places for lunch and dinner as well as the best jerk pork places. see you soon maggie and Rikki Spencer

I love staying at Carib. The view is breathtaking, we eat breakfast on the porch every morning watching the ocean. Its a simple walk into the town so we don't have to worry about taxis or any of that. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Ocho Rios.
