Being just 15 minutes from the airport, a short distance from beaches,restaurants, live music, hiking, bicycling, and much more makes this a prime place to stay while on vacation. If you do not feel the need to be out and about, Lanikai offers a beautiful heated salt water pool on the ocean side or the option to walk a few steps and swim in the beautiful Papaloa Bay.

The condo was clean and well taken care of. It was obvious that a lot of care and effort was put into the unit to make it a place that people would want to return to. The unit was well appointed and included everything a person would need from laundry soap to sand chairs and coolers. The management staff was very helpful and on site. We would definitely stay here again.
My wife, 3 year old and I really enjoyed our stay at the Lanikai property. It's conveniently located, is immaculately maintained and is very quiet and relaxing. It's well appointed and included coolers and beach toys but lacked beach chairs. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. Would recommend Verde for dinner and shave ice at Hee Fat. It was a good location for our Christmas vacation. If you're looking for a quiet and central location, this is worth considering.
My wife, my 3 year old, and I spent 8 great days at Lanikai. It's a beautiful property and conveniently located. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing location this is worth considering. It's close to restaurants and the grocery stores. Traffic on the main road was a drawback during certain times of the day but manageable. Would recommend shave ice from Hee Fat and dinner at Verde. Kauai is amazing, can't wait to return.
We spent 8 days at this condo at the beginning of July 2014 with our 3 teenagers (15-17 and 19). The condo is really spacious and is very nice (decoration) and very clean. Outside, the landscape is beautiful. The location, near Kapaa was perfect since it is central . On the north shore we did some trekking on the Napali Cost, surf in Hanalei bay and visited many nice beaches. The condo is also few minutes from Wailua river, on which we did some kayaking. The south shore is also not very far and we visited the Waimea Canyon, Hanapepe and Poipu beach. Kauai is really fantastic (we were on Maui the week before).
The condo is located at 5 minutes from Foodland and Safeway, which is very convenient. Walmart (15 minutes) and Costco (20 mintes) are also not too far. As mentioned by other reviewers, the pool and the BBQ were appreciated. We definitively recommend this condo.
This beautiful spacious unit had everything. We stayed the entire month of January and had a wonderful time. The unit was clean and very well stocked for our extended stay. We will definitely return and would recommend it to anyone. The ground floor made the pool and beach very handy. We did not rent our car for much of our stay and found the central location provided all we needed. Hiking up the sleeping giant, swimming in the ocean and pool, great restaurants all within walking distance. Perfect
Prime location within walking distance for shopping at the Coconut Market Place or dinning at Kintaro's, Hukilau Lanai, or Monico's to name a few. The beach just 95 feet away where you can relax, go snorkeling and enjoy an occasional visit from a Kauai Monk sea or a sea turtle.
