The dining room and sitting room are very spacious rooms with pasta tiled floors and 18 foot high walls. A huge comfortable modern sofa and ottoman sit happily with pieces of antique carved furniture and exotic floor lamps. A huge iron candelabra hangs centre stage. A live palm tree sways up to the beamed ceiling. These rooms are truly breathtaking.
The three bedrooms are designed for comfort. The hand-carved bed heads, the deep mattresses, large ceiling fans and air conditioning in every bedroom all help to give you a good night’s sleep. About Yury Diana Di Pasquale
Casa las Sirenas is owned by an English family, who fell in love with Merida while looking for beachfront land in Sisal. They visit Merida as often as they can to bask in the year-round sunshine and to throw themselves into the vibrant Mexican way of life.

Why Yury Diana Di Pasquale chose Merida
Merida is a popular holiday destination for many reasons, not least because it is one of the safest cities in Mexico and is renowned for its low crime rate and effective police force. The casa stands in one of the typical narrow side streets fanning out from the famous Paseo de Montejo. Here in the relaxed lifestyle of the historic district of Merida Centro you discover the true heart of the city in its warm friendly people, who put themselves out to make your vacation a happy one. You can delight in the character of the painted colonial facades of the Centro Homes, all different, some almost derelict, others beautifully restored. From here you are able to walk to everything you need including restaurants, bars, boutiques, small art galleries, markets and shops.
There is a regular local bus service or you can take the luxurious first class air conditioned buses for day-trips to Cancun or Chichen Itza.
