The lodge is an ideal location for experiencing Utah's world class skiing, fishing, hiking and boating. Located east of Heber Valley, the cabin has a large panoramic view of area, with all the conveniences of home. The house has a full kitchen and laundry, internet and cable. It is ideal for family retreats or reunions. Located on an acre, it is close to everything, yet in a private housing development.
We live in nearby Highland, Utah. We love this beautiful state, and would be happy to house you and your family in this incredible cabin. We are eager to help out with any inquiries you may have on all the activities Midway has to offer!
Shauna Little purchased this lodge in 2012
After years of searching for the right place, we found this lodge to be perfect. It is custom built with all the charm of a mountain lodge, but all the conveniences of a house. The location is just above Heber Valley, yet still private enough for relaxing and getting away from it all. It is literally surrounded with skiing, fishing, boating, golfing, shopping, eating and exploring.
You will love waking up to the view! The home has internet and cable TV, but you can walk out the door and instantly be surrounded by nature. It has plenty of room for families members of all ages!
Great location, cozy feel, very friendly owner! Loved this place and highly recommend it! The balcony is gorgeous with an incredible view of the whole city. Lots of room. I would definitely rent this vacation lodge again!
This lodge has a beautiful view of the valley, plenty of room for family and kids to play. It has a very private feel to it, although it is amongst other cabins in the area. Great place to get together and visit, or if you rather its a perfect base for plenty of other activities in the area.
The owner (Shauna) is great to work with, this is the second time we have stayed this year. My family loves to go there.
A roomy, very comfortable home with a great porch with an unbelievable view. Top notch in every respect.
We had such a fabulous weekend at the Little Lodge. My husband and I were in town for the Spartan Beast race, the lodge was such a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Heber Valley before and after the race. The kitchen is perfect, we enjoyed being able to prep and cook our own meals with the comforts of home. We hope to be back for a much longer visit!
This place is great! Me and my family had such a good time. We were there for 4 day and I need to stay for a month to do all the stuff we wanted to. Bikeing, hiking, swimming, boating, and on and on and on. We will be back for sure. Thanks Shauna!
We had the best time staying at this lodge! Being from California, we wanted to spend Christmas in a snowy lodge, and this one was perfect! It's amazing to wake up to the beautiful view of the valley glistening with snow! It really does look like an old fashion christmas card! We especially loved seeing a little family of deer just a few feet below the balcony in the backyard! The kids loved throwing sliced apples below to feed them. I've never seen anything like it!
There is so much to do here if you love the outdoors! In our group, the men went fishing with a guide, and the girls went downtown to all the quaint shops and restaurants. If you've never been to this part of Utah before, in the downtown, the architecture looks just like a traditional Swiss town! It is so adorable!
Once the day was done, we all met back at the lodge. We all gathered together to make an amazing dinner, and I loved using all the modern appliances! Then we sat around the beautiful fireplace with hot coco.
The bedrooms are adorable and the beds are so comfortable, which is really important to me.
If you're like me, when I thought of the word "lodge" I thought of a drafty, uncomfortable place, away from civilization, and I was wrong! This lodge feels just like home in a beautiful location. I highly recommend staying here if you want to ski, fish, hike, sled, etc, and really feel like you're getting away, but still have all the modern conveniences we enjoy!
There are three main attractions for this area, depending on the season. In the winter time, the home is next to several world class ski resorts: Park City, The Canyons and Deer Valley. There is snowboarding, sledding and for the truly adventurous, ice fishing.
From spring to fall, there are five golf courses within 10 miles, the Provo River provides fishing and tubing. There are two large reservoirs for boating and other water sports. There are several hiking trails in the area. Outlet shopping is just 15 minutes away.
