Located in Oconee County and nestled in the foothills of the Upstate, this 9 acre farm features private, comfortable accommodations for you and your pet.
The home features two bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 people. The Alexander Room has a Queen size bed and is just steps away from the full bath. The Saddleback Suite is decorated with the horse lover in mind and has a full, private bath.
The spacious common area includes a den, breakfast bar, full kitchen and dining area. Just outside the double doors is a deck overlooking the pasture and all of it's natural beauty.
And for your pet, we have a large fenced in area just below the deck where your pet can lounge, too. Pets are welcome in the home but kindly confirm that he/she is up to date on all vaccination and flea/tick preventatives. Pet sitting is also available.
Nearby outdoor attractions include whitewater rafting and Zip lining on the Chattooga River, hiking the Foothills Trail, or swimming at Lake Hartwell. Be sure to visit as many of the Oconee County waterfalls as you can. But, whatever your pleasure, come experience South Carolina's Upcountry.
Additional activities include antiquing in Wahalla or attending a college football game in Clemson.
This second floor rental is in a beautiful spacious home with lovely furniture and decor. The entry staircase at the back leads to a balcony with a stunning view of pastoral land, woods and sky. The living quarters are charmingly stocked with virtually everything you need. Truly a home away from home experience. Owner is very friendly and a wonderful source of information for local activities and restaurants. Nearby Paesano's Italian Restaurant has great food and terrific atmosphere.
Property is just as described and more. Very peaceful and welcoming, even decked out for the holiday! My daughter and I wanted to stay close to family with our two dogs and the property fit the request. Beautiful grounds, very well maintained And the owner was very gracious. A wonderful holiday break!
Axle Acres, my nine acre farm, has chickens and horses and fresh eggs are gathered daily. Outdoors, you can take the path to the creek and enjoy your picnic. If you're in need of more downtime, enjoy your afternoon in the hammock under the large shade tree. For the more adventurous, you're just 20 minutes from zip lining and white water rafting. Your choice. Or, do it all. And, if you're in need of a pet sitter while you enjoy some of these outdoor activities, just let me know. For a small fee, your pet will be attended.
