IN THE HEART OF A QUIET MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN, SPACIOUS AND MODERN APARTMENT

Family run, owners very friendly and helpful.
The apartment had a beautiful garden with useful terrace for eating out. The apartment is decorated in various bright colours which took a bit of getting used to but the rooms were all a good size. We hadn't read the details of the kitchen facilities very carefully and were surprised that there wasn't any running hot water in the kitchen, oven or any clothes washing facilities. The host family were very kind and washed a lot of clothes for us.
The location was a lot busier than our previous week on Brac. The only road linking the mainland and Ciovo is very busy most of the time and the walk into Trogir is along this road. We really enjoyed Trogir but didn't enjoy the walk there and back very much.
There is a really nice beach near the apartment around the perimeter of a camping site where there is also a beach restaurant and creperie stand. On the last evening we discovered that there are pool tables and other kid friendly facilities at the campsite.
The beaches on the south side of the island were worth visiting.
The view from the nearest beach to the apartment had unfortunate views of the ship yard across the bay. While this didn't seem to affect the water quality it's not what you want to be looking at when you are relaxing on the beach.
The beaches to the northwest of the apartment are very commercialised with restaurant, bars, boat hire, water sports.
The owners noticed that it was my wife's birthday while we were staying and left a card, flowers and present of local cakes on the table on the terrace. Very nice of them and made us feel very much at home.
Very useful having an internet connection.
