ROMANTIC COTTAGE, WIDE TERRACE OVERLOOKING THE SEA.

Just returned from a wonderful 1-week stay at La Clarissa.
Although it was already November, the weather was just perfect during the day (in the morning and at night it could be a bit nippy) so I regularly lounged on the fantastic private terrace overlooking the sea, and ate out most of the time.
The house is spotless, cosy, and tastefully decorated, and in spite of its small size (ideal for 1 or 2 people), it has a perfect layout. Although close to the main road, and some honking during the day, the noise factor was not really an issue.
The house is conveniently located, with Minori at walking distance. To visit other towns (Atrani, Amalfi, Praiano, Positano, Ravello: all very worthwhile!), the bus stop is just around the corner.

We stayed at Anna's rental apartment from July 9th to 14th and enjoyed ourselves. Franco was our main contact there, and he was excellent. Very nice person, and very helpful. The apartment location is great, only 10 mins from Minori and the beach, and the view is spectacular. We loved the very large porch with deck chairs and outdoor shower. Our only real issue was traffic noise, as it was a bit noisier than we would have liked. The apartment layout is great, and it had many ammenities that made our stay enjoyable. It would have been great to have wireless internet access, which is a must when I travel, but it is not offered at Anna's. Franco did tell me they are working on getting it. Overall, we would recommend a stay there.

unfortunately, we recently returned from la clarissa in amalfi. it is unfortunate ONLY in the sense that we absolutely did not want to leave. this was truly the most exquisite place we've ever had the opportunity to stay; and we are SO glad we chose to stay here instead of a hotel. the view from la clarissa is indescribable. its convenience to all the enjoyment the Amalfi Coast offered us the opportunity to either relax on the divine balcony of La CLarissa all day and watch the fishermen go by, OR take a few steps into city center to be a part of a happy town, filled with warm people and lovely restaurants.
Upon our arrival, Anna and Franco were above-and-beyond accommodating in helping us get settled. the house was spotless, and provided all the amenities of home.
anna, the owner, was spectacular in her communication. from detailed directions to advice on fun activities, she is an excellent hostess.
i look forward to once again returning to la clarissa. it truly provided the most outstanding holiday we have ever had.
