Location: Les Penyes is a two kilometre drive up from the traditional Spanish resort town of Sant Feliu de Guixols with its sandy bay and tree lined promenade. The town is lively throughout the year with a wide choice of restaurants and bars to suit every taste. The beaches offer all kinds of water sports,and the area around Sant Feliu offers golf and adventure sports. The coastline is full of contrast, with countless bays and coves surrounded by pine trees.

The property: Set amongst spacious south facing lawns and terraces and with private gardens on three sides, the house has wonderful views over the Mediterranean. Arranged over 3 floors, with split levels including a large lower ground floor bedroom suite, the house has a clean, bright interior and is furnished in a fresh modern style. On the top floor, the master bedroom (with en-suite bathroom) overlooks the sea and there are two further bedrooms facing the pine forest opposite, together with a family bathroom . On the ground floor, the raised kitchen/dining area overlooks the lounge, which in turn opens through 2 sets of patio doors onto the terrace; this terrace with stunning sea views is ideal for al fresco dining. There is a second terrace to the side of the house to take advantage of the late afternoon sun and perfect for evening barbeques. Leading down from the lounge area are the stairs to another spacious bedroom suite, which has an additional open plan seating area.

Getting there: The property can be reached from Girona airport (30 minutes), Perpignan or Barcelona airports (90 minutes). Ryanair and Easyjet serve these locations
