Cottage located in the heart of one of Northern Michigan's finest Nursery.

This 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage style home is artistically designed to blend the indoor with the outdoor landscaping of plants, trees, a gift shop, and even a cafe serving breakfast and lunch! Pine Hill Nursery is well known as a destination trip for gardening, landscaping, and educational classes related to horticulture. Out the back door of a private,planted patio, you smell the homemade breakfast and lunch cooking, which is available to customers during the summer and fall season. Another amenity to this property is access to a swim beach on beautiful Torch Lake approx. 2 blocks away. Bring a kayak, canoe, bike, and shoes for walking as you are surrounded by a variety opportunities for outdoor fun. Located 20 miles south of Charlevoix, 12 miles north of Elk Rapids, 25 miles from Traverse City, and 10 miles to Central Lake.Even though you may be sitting in the midst of a retail operation, the cottage offers indoor privacy and a small private outdoor patio area, beautifully decorated.
About The Owner

This original homestead was fully remodled in 2012. The Nursery had been a family owned business for over 30 years. Visit their website at www.pinehill-nursery.com.

Located on US 31 North, this is a great rental for the traveler who would like to take off on day trips and visit all the Grand Traverse region has to offer. From The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore to Mackinac Island, with so much in between can keep you entertained and well fed with the eateries, wineries, farm markets, and cultural establishments galore along Northwest Michigan's shoreline.

What makes this cottage unique

Even though there may be customers during the day on the several acres of nursery property, this cottage is on the edge of the project where most clients are not shopping. 1 Complimentary breakfast served from our cafe to a weekly rental party. Just step out on your patio!

Total weekly rate plus Mich sales tax will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Contact email address provided to book a date.

Notes: This cottage is a charming stay, access to Torch Lake, and at a very affordable price point due to the uniqueness of it's location. Yes, you have to tolerate a business going on around you, but we hope to make it as pleasant and enriching as possible, especially if you enjoy gardening! Great location to come and go from at half the price of waterfront. Sightseeing, day trips, taking part in the local communities and their summer festivals/events are so numerous you cannot get to them all.
