You might be lucky and see wild boar, bobcat, wild turkeys, coyote and deer. Since the property is not fenced, the deer think they own the place and wander through at will. You can tell by the hoof prints on the Bocce court.
The home has a large kitchen with inside and outside dining areas. The kitchen has a six burner Dacor cooktop, two large ovens and a large microwave, an extra large dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker, two warming drawers, double sinks, and even a wood burning cast iron stove. You will also enjoy the great views looking out onto the hillside where you can catch glimpses of the local wildlife.
The indoor dining room seats 10 and there is a table in the kitchen that easily seats six for those who want to chat with the chef or for a casual meal. There are two outdoor dining tables, one on the deck that will seat 6 comfortably and 8 in a pinch. A second one on the terrace seats 8 comfortably while you are watching an active game of bocce.
If you like to cook you will appreciate the extensive herb selection, olive oils and vinegars.The dining room is separated from the kitchen / family room by beautiful pocket doors with glass panels. There is a built in china cupboard in the dining room and a lovely chandelier. The family room area off the kitchen has a reclining leather love seat, a reclining reading chair and a 50 inch Sony TV with DirecTV service. There is a cast iron stove that can be used for heating and general ambience.
There are French doors leading from the kitchen / family room area onto the oversize deck. On the deck is a Weber gas BBQ that is hooked up to the propane tank that is used by the home for heating. The deck has a love seat and two arm chairs that are metal and have cushions plus multiple other chairs that can be used with the glass top table or just for relaxing. Going down from the deck there is a lovely outdoor seating area with a round teak dining table and chairs, service cart, plus additional small tables and chairs and benches. There is a tree swing and a bocce court with teak benches and tables at each end.
Off to the side of the deck is a 6 person “Hot Spring” Spa that is very private and has a lovely view of the hillside. There is an outdoor shower near the hot tub where you can quickly shower before getting into the hot tub and rinse off after you get out.
The master bedroom is upstairs and has a cal king sled bed with 540 count sheets, down comforter, and coordinated duvet cover and decorative pillows. There is a seating area with a comfortable reading chair and an antique wooden bench. Off the master bedroom is a deck with beautiful vistas. There are two chairs with cushions for you to enjoy the morning sunrise or just to sit and enjoy the view. The tiled master bath has two sinks and a large tile tub / shower combination with a new ‘Speakman’ shower head.
The two other bedrooms are downstairs. Each has a queen bed with down comforter and coordinated duvet cover and decorative pillows. Both have closets with build in shelves, a supply of coat hangers and a luggage rack. They share a tiled bathroom with a shower / tub combination with a new ‘Speakman’ shower head.
The interior of the home was professionally painted by a painter trained in Switzerland and has 17 different colors throughout the home. There is wireless interest service in the home but no local phone so you will need to use your cell phone.
The property has a seasonal creek the flows in winter, spring and early summer. The outdoor mood lights wash the front of the house and come on automatically at dusk lighting up a gorgeous oak tree, three redwood trees, and pathways to the house. The lights in the back have a manual switch and light up two beautiful oaks, a large walnut tree, barn, and pathways.
