This house is new to the Stinson rental market. It is an incredible find for people who want the comfort of a house that is much newer and in much better shape than most Stinson Beach homes. Five houses from the beach and six minutes walk to town, this house is bound to become a vacation favorite for your family. It has all the modern conveniences, too.

Unwind by the ocean in this comfortable, luxurious, family-friendly 3 bedroom home. All new furnishings, just steps from the beach. A short walk down the beach will bring you to the Stinson Beach business district, where you will find a well-stocked grocery store, a great little bookstore, local bars and restaurants. Hop in the car and take Hwy 1 in either direction for incredible scenic drives to some of the San Francisco Bay Area's justifiably world famous attractions, from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Napa Valley wineries. Hike or bike the surrounding hills and beaches, take out a kayak on the lagoon, surf the waves, or just relax and breathe the fresh sea air.

About The Owner

I have always been drawn to the beach since my parents started making the 10 hour drive from Ohio to the Delaware shore in the 1960s. The memories of those family adventures are still with me today. My wife experienced the beach as a child growing up in England. Our three children are 16, 13 and 7. I am a registered investment advisor and run 360 Investment Advisors in San Rafael. Our Stinson house is perfect for us and we think you’ll enjoy it too.

Why The Owner chose Stinson Beach

Our family of five has been enjoying Stinson Beach for close to two decades. We live in San Rafael, so it’s a one-hour drive to this wonderful and welcoming village by the sea. We rented houses all over the beach area, from the close-in Calles out to the secluded subdivision of Seadrift. After years of renting, we fell in love with a house that came on the market in 2012, and which had not been available for rent. That house is 14 Calle Del Pradero. We hope you will like the house as much as we do.

What makes this house unique

14 Calle del Pradero stands out from the other houses in Stinson. It’s very unusual because it’s one of the newest and largest homes within yards of the beach and within 5 minutes walk to the center of town, with it’s shops and dining. It’s very well designed, very well maintained and full of great touches and useful conveniences. Plus, it’s new on the vacation rental market. We think it will get fully booked very quickly. We certainly love staying here.

About a 35-minute drive from the Golden Gate Bridge on California's Highway 1, Stinson Beach is near important attractions such as Muir Woods National Monument, Agate Beach tidepools, and Mount Tamalpais. It has a long sandy beach, and peaceful lagoon which teems with birds and wildlife.

Stinson Beach is a popular day trip for people in the San Francisco Bay Area and for tourists visiting northern California. The network of hiking trails around Mount Tamalpais is extensive and breathtaking. The beach is one of the cleanest in the state.

The Great Room offers a spacious living area with high ceilings and great views. It combines living and dining area with an open kitchen with plenty of counter space and modern appliances. Sliding glass door opens to the deck for outdoor relaxation. You’ll love the reading nook with built in shelves and window seat for cozy cogitation and contemplation of the view down our street and to the sea. On cool nights, fire up the wood-burning fireplace with antique carved wooden mantle. You won’t find a better layout anywhere in the area. There is a studio separate from the main house that can be used as a den or office or private retreat, with its own locking door and closet.

We stayed the weekend and enjoyed it. The home was easy to get to and its on a private road. The house is steps from the beach, which was important to us. Accommodations were very comfortable (everything seems new) and instructions to work everything (appliances, stereo etc.) clear.
We used the grill on the patio for a bbq Saturday evening and had breakfast on Sunday at the Parkside restuarant -- which was within walking distance.
I will definately go back.
