Unit 7 is on the ground floor of Gulf Holiday Apartments directly across from our wonderful heated swimming pool. This is a peaceful location for couples or small families looking for a place to get away and recharge.
The building has only 18 units and is literally steps away from the Gulf of Mexico, Siesta Key Beach and Siesta Key Village.
Relax by the pool. Enjoy the beach. Experience wonderful sunsets and incredible fishing just feet away at the end of the street.
The apartment is a comfortable 1 bedroom unit with a double bed, living room (with queen size pull out), full kitchen, air conditioning, cable tv, and hi-speed internet.
The unit was recently renovated and is very comfortable to relax in.
Siesta Key is a short drive to Sarasota for shopping and attractions though it is easy to spend an entire vacation without leaving the village.
Restaurants, bars, shops, groceries, hair and beauty salons are all in the village. As well as bicycle, scooter, boat, jet ski, kayak and fishing equipment rentals.
My wife Victoria and I bought our place in 2012 to enjoy with our children. We are from Toronto and love to get away to beautiful Siesta Key which is simply paradise to us.
I have been coming to Gulf Holiday Apartments for over 30 years (My familiy also owns Unit 6 right next store). It is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

This place is special. Siesta Key, Gulf Holiday and Unit #7 provide the ideal location to enjoy yourself in a beautiful and relaxing setting. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy, but this is not Lauderdale. It is a quiet, peaceful community where people treat each other with respect, feel safe walking around day or night and ultimately, come back time and time again.
Our unit is a comfortable size for couples or families with 1-2 smaller children. It is clean and comfortable. The kitchen a good size. The pool is fantastic and the beach is second to none.
Our unit is well suited for short or long-term stays. Some of our regular guests come for up to two months at a time.

My daughter and I had a perfect vacation. Not only was the weather perfect, but so was our condo. Location, condition and decor all met our expectations. The owner is great to work with. We will make this a regular vacation destination.
Spent two weeks over the Christmas break in this comfortable, straightforward condo. Lives up to its description and well priced for this area. Photos and description in the ad reflect the property well, and it was nicer than I expected. There are grander condos and accommodations around, but if you are happy with upgraded basic amenities, this is the place for you. Recently renovated, the bedroom is neat and compact and bathroom has stand up shower only (I knew this ahead of time and it was fine for me.) Kitchen area also compact and has all the things you need to prepare and serve meals. Property is clean and well maintained, neighbours are nice and friendly. Owner is quite responsive to concerns and a pleasure to do business with.
The beach is truly amazing. At this north end location of the 5km long beach, it is rarely crowded. If you want the crowd just stroll down about 2km to the public part of the beach. Excellent beach to walk, run, bike, swim, and sunbathe. I liked that it is not commercialized too much, but if you want to parasail or other water sports those things are available further down the beach. Residents and vacationers gather at the end of Avenue Messina at the fishing pier every night to watch the sun set; a nice “community” feel. Of the two weeks I was there only two days were grey or rainy. The village, with a good market (friendly helpful staff) and about 15 to 20 dining and entertainment establishments, is a short walk away. You do not need a vehicle unless you want to tour around to other locations. Dining runs the full gamut, there is live music at a couple of places, and a dj/dance bar that goes into the wee hours, for the young (and young at heart.)
I rented a car for one week from Practical Auto, which is located just off the Key. Good price and they picked me up and dropped me off. There is a parking space available.
Highly recommended and would happily rebook in the future.
My family and I recently returned from a great vacation on Siesta Key. This condo was PERFECT for us! It is quiet, serene, and so comfortable. First floor made it easy with our two young children. Condo is steps from the well known pier and beach, we didn't miss a sunset. You can walk to the village for shops and dining in less than 5 minutes. Barely used our car while vacationing. Pool is clean and open 24 hours. Property well managed and very clean. We will definitely seek out this property again next time we vacation on Siesta Key. I miss it already!
We stayed a week at this property and found the location good! Close to the beach and to the Village. We like being able to walk to both, so this was great! The pool is really nice. Very clean and the temperature was great! It provided sun and shade. Definitely felt good place for our age (60's). Although we did see younger families here! Seemed to be a quiet location. Could use a little updating, but very clean!
Gulf Holiday apartments are just steps away Siesta Beach and beautiful Siesta Key Village. The beach is considered by many the best in North America and is known for its white sand, clear water and famous Sunday night drum circle.
The village has all you need - restaurants (the Lobster Pot, the Cottage and Blue Smoke to name a few) bars, Big Olaf's Ice Cream Shop, the Beach Bazaar and several other shops and boutiques.
Siesta Key is a short drive from downtown Sarasota which offers wonderful sites to explore like the Ringling Mansion and Circus Museum, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, deep sea fishing, golf, movie cinemas and live theatre.
